About this deal

I could not put this book down. I stayed up waaaaaay into the night to finish it and didn't regret it at all. I'm ready to read it again!! šŸ˜ turns on mic* ok everyone im just saying yall need to read sarah adams books because they're amazing *turns off mic* When Drew loves, he loves fiercely. He's not going anywhere, and if there is one thing I'm certain of, it's that Drew Marshall would move heaven and earth for me and my daughter, and I would do the same for him.

The Temporary Roomie by Sarah Adams | Waterstones

The TemporaryRoomie is not as good as I expected. The beginning of the story, it l9oks really good then the middle part becomes boring and the last part is flat. This book was cute, but I was hoping for a lot more from it than what I got. Also, I think Iā€™m growing out of the enemies to lovers trope because I hardly ever read a book that is actual enemies turned lovers anymore and Iā€™m realizing that it kinda bothers me when itā€™s not a true enemies starting pointā€¦ I really wanted to love this book, but I just didnā€™t. The Cheat Sheet by Sarah Adams was one of my favourite books of last year. It was hilarious and I remember having a smile on my face the entire time I read it. However, for me, the Temporary Roomie completely missed the mark. If you are just starting out with reading, I think you may like this but for me personally, I have been craving more depth in the books I read, and TTR just did not have that. I didnā€™t feel the spark between the two main characters, and they just seemed to handle everything very immaturely. I didn't like the characters and therefore couldn't get into the storyline. It just wasnā€™t for me. So many tropes and such great romcom moments keep this funny story from Sarah Adams moving swiftly. Itā€™s the second in a series but works perfectly as a standalone. Underneath all the aggressive feelings, both Drew and Jessie are kind and silly for each other. Itā€™s a fun and slightly ditsy read, perfect for a lazy Sunday afternoon ā¤ļø Cooper comes out of the house with two travel mugs full of coffee. Because heā€™s practically my husband, I bet he has even added the perfect amount of my favorite creamer.ā€Okay I'm gonna repeat myself but please, just please stop showing the characters as enemies.... when one moment they're like "you're my enemy!" And playing silly pranks on each other and the next "Oh I love him". Can I ask ask authors to make the enemies seem more like enemies and not just 'oh you did this? Now I'm gonna hate you' nah that's a misunderstanding... and I find it ironic that she calls Drew 'selfish' but then she is the one who is the 'selfish' one. Did I say the previous book was juvenile? Because this book really surpassed it and I'm not even disappointed at the moment. I knew I was going to be disappointed when I started this book. I don't know why all the characters she writes are so whiny and act worse than teenagers. Also, the fact that she was 7 months pregnant, they only met for the first time when she was already pregnant (with someone elseā€™s baby) and it ended up in a perfect HEA all within the span of 3 monthsā€¦ without a serious talk of what jumping into a relationship when sheā€™s prego with someone elseā€™s baby meansā€¦ idk, bugged me a little. Wanted more in that area altogether.

The Temporary Roomie by Sarah Adams | Goodreads

What happens when you have to play nice with your greatest enemy? Revenge. Drew Marshall may have let me move into his spare bedroom while my house is being renovated, but donā€™t think for one second his kindness comes without strings. Big, ugly, fake relationship strings. Thatā€™s okay, though, Dr. Andrew. Iā€™ll agree to your terms, move into your house, and act like your girlfriend when the big day comes; but I also plan to make your life miserableā€“make you pay for what you did to me. I may not be good at forgiving or forgetting, but Iā€™m excellent at getting even. Get ready to laugh until you cry with this sizzling, hilarious, closed-door romantic comedy! The Temporary Roomie (It Happened in Nashville, #2) by Sarah Adams ā€“ eBook DetailsExcitement. Giddy, happy, excitement. That's what I'm feeling right now. I just had THE MOST FUN reading this new book by Sarah Adams. It's no secret that I love to be entertained when reading and I love when I am left with an emotional high. This book gave me so many smiles, quite a few giggles and all the sizzle of attraction. It was so yummy.

I definitely need to go on a Sarah Adams binge before my KU subscription ends. All of her books just look so adorable. Great review! While I did hate Drew in the first book, this book did show a nice side to Drew and he was adorable at times. But there was absolutely no chemistry and I honestly couldn't wrap my head around how he dealt with Jessie. And as is with Sarah's books there must just be something she likes about the 'miscommunation trope' :/

the temporary roomie is another fav read from sarah adams!! ok first of all this book has everything i love: Full transparency, this is one of those books I shouldnā€™t have read because I will be unfairly judging it based off the actual basis of the bookJust to say i am really disappointed with this work by her cause i really enjoyed the other books by Sarah! jessie is in serious need of a favor: she needs a place to stay while her house is being fixed. drew is in the same situation: he needs a fake date for an event with his colleagues. roomies and fake dating who hate each other.. what could go wrong? the house becomes a battlefield of pranks that, inevitably, will blur the barriers between hate and love. No es un mal libro, puede que el problema fuese muy personal porque no soporto a la gente que es asĆ de niƱa a la edad que tiene y mĆ”s encima esperando un bebĆ©.
