This venue was chosen as the old sixteenth century farm house had a cellar which was perfect as a venue for the experiments. Perhaps the biggest red flag in the Scole Experiment is the venue in which the sittings took place: a room in the basement of the house in Scole where two of the mediums lived, Robin and Sandra Foy. Rather than controlling the environment, the investigators ceded total control over the room and conditions to the mediums. The seances were held about once a month, which gave the Foys ample time to make any desired alterations to the room. There's no evidence that they did so, but granting them unrestricted opportunity pretty much torpedoed any hope for credibility. The Scole Report states that the room was available for examination before and after every seance, but there's no reason to believe that any truly thorough examination was ever performed; and in any event it's a poor substitute for what the investigators should have done, which was to provide their own room over which the mediums had no control at all. (A few seances were held at other locations, but the Scole Report describes the results from those as "variable".) The current description is supernatural mystery thriller however we're well aware that once various producers, directors, other screenwriters, and actors get to look at and have input into a script the whole thing can change enormously. But we think almost everything about the Scole story would make a great film.' Sessions generally lasted for two - two and a halfhours depending on the experiments being conducted at each one.The Communicators were seeking to answer some of the criticisms of The ScoleExperimentthat had worried Alan and Diana after theexperiment had finished. The two most important concerns were 'darkness conditions' and 'repeatability of experiments'. In 2022, in preparation for the 30th Anniversary of the first significant Scole phenomenon (1993) in 2023, ScoleGroup members – Robin Foy, Alan Bennett, and Diana Bennett – instructed Grant Solomon andJane Solomon (officially appointed collatorsand curators of The Scole Experiment material since 1998) to digitally publish – with universal free access for study and discussion ('educational purposes only') – all The Scole Files, including Notes and Transcripts regarding the audio recordings of the 'Communication' during the500 x 2-hour sessions of The Scole Experiment. Robin also compiled a comprehensive diary record of every session of The Scole Experiment, which included the contemporary notes written by all the members of the Scole Group while the experiments were being undertaken. There was apparently something very special about the 'combined energies' of the four people who joined together to form the Scole Experimental Group. The 'Communicators' were able blend the 'human energies' of the group with 'earth energies' and 'spirit energies' to form a special 'Creative Energy' that powered The Scole Experiment.

They too were practical, intelligent and discerning individuals who spent decades researching psychical phenomena and evidence for an Afterlife.. The Scole Experiment Movie is a joint American/British project currently ' in development' with producers @AndrewdDeane of Industry Entertainment Partners (Los Angeles, US) and Rory Rooney (UK). At the time of the Scole sessions, Alan and Diana, the trance mediums during the Scole experiments, were married with four, grown-up children. Along the way, they discovered data and evidence suggestive ofconscious life in Space and Hyperspace. In 2022, in preparation for the 30th Anniversary of the first significant Scole phenomenon (1993) in 2023, Scole Group members - Robin Foy, Alan Bennett, and Diana Bennett - asked Grant Solomon and Jane Solomon (officially appointed collators and curators of The Scole Experiment material since 1998) to digitally publish - with universal free access for study and discussion ('educational purposes only') - all The Scole Files, including Notes and Transcripts regarding the audio recordings of the 'Communication' during the 500 x 2-hour sessions of The Scole Experiment. Previously, in the book, the report, the diary, the documentary, the commentary, and elsewhere, only approximately 10% of the files had been published. The remaining 90% of the data and evidence will begin to be made universally and freely available 'for educational purposes only' at the start of 2023. Unfortunately, the Scole Experiment was tainted by profound investigative failings. In short, the investigators imposed little or no controls or restrictions upon the mediums, and at the same time, agreed to all of the restrictions imposed by the mediums. The mediums were in control of the seances, not the investigators. What the Scole Report authors describe as a scientific investigation of the phenomena, was in fact (by any reasonable interpretation of the scientific method) hampered by a set of rules which explicitly prevented any scientific investigation of the phenomena. The cellar had developed into an Experimental Science Room but was known, more affectionately, as the 'Scole Hole'.

These included not only theinvestigatorsfrom the Society forPsychical Research (SPR) but also other interested parties. The unique and revolutionary evidence provided by The Scole Experiment may suggest that solid scientific proof of survival may not be far off. If so, there are unavoidable and far-reachingimplications for us all. This show is made possible by financial support from listeners like you. If you like this programming, please become a member. We have written the screenplay with Hollywood producer Rory Rooney,' said Mr Solomon. 'He asked us to do it because it would have taken another screenwriter a long time to just get up to speed on the vast amount of Scole information and the concepts involved.
