Honestly, the real truth is that both Shark and Dyson could be right for you. They each have good models with slightly different features. I’d suggest either the Dyson V10 Absolute or Dyson V11 Torque Drive. Or if you want to go Shark, get the Shark IONFlex DuoClean. All 3 of these models perform exceptionally well, have a long run time, can reach high and low, and easily move between floor types (carpet or hard surfaces). Based on your needs and desires I am confident in all 3 models to get the job done, it really just comes down to price.
