We took M there for his birthday and he was heaven. He spent his time running around not knowing what to look at first. Discover the wonders of chemistry with this well-equipped laboratory set with an excellent selection of 10 different chemicals. Join us for this FREE, live event online! Your child will experience an hour of learning and fun with an astrophysicist. The event will include an interactive activity and a Q&A with our special guest! Our testers couldn’t believe this set actually held 80 experiments and contained a real flame! The children wanted to start experimenting straight away and were able to follow the instructions in the manual with minimal help. The only problem encountered was that certain required household items weren’t provided, like sodium chloride (salt) which took our testers a while to work out. They also commented on the fact that they would have liked to have an extra pair of goggles in the set: they felt that it was an activity better carried out with another person, which is actually quite nice as it shows their interest in teamwork and collaboration.Perform 80+ safety-tested, themed experiments, all clearly planned and set out within the detailed instruction manual.

We have a range of programs to choose from that teach fundamentals like chemistry, physics, biology, and engineering.Our next experiment was to make some invisible inks using the kid’s science lab. This taught us that some substances could be different colours depending on whether they are hot and cold. The first step was to make invisible ink from a lemon. We moved onto using iron sulphate chemicals and mixing two chemicals (copper sulphate and ammonium chloride). We used cotton buds dipped in the ink substances we made and wrote messages on paper.
