About this deal

Our compact and flexible 2-in, 4-out USB audio interface makes it easy to perform and record studio-quality audio against a cue mix. Take it anywhere, connect and power by USB and get two natural-sounding Scarlett mic preamps, super-low latency, MIDI I/O, four analogue outputs and the same class-leading sound quality and digital conversion as the rest of the Scarlett range. We make audio interfaces, and that's all we do. It's the job of an audio interface to sit between you and your sound being shared with the world, and we're the best in the world at making that happen. One welcome difference is the new headphone amps, which drive significantly louder (and clearer) than previous generations.

Whether you are an in-the-box producer or a musician recording with external instruments, Focusrite lays out your best connectivity options regardless of your chosen scenario. What Is Focusrite Control? Is the popping when turning the computer on fixed? Can I play from my speakers without turning on computer in some way? If you're having problems installing the driver on Windows 7, please try the steps in the following article: Focusrite USB Driver will not install on my Windows 7 machine (digital signature problem). Focusrite has done a great job with the new 3rd generation interfaces. While first glances may give the impression that they are just a prettier version of their former selves, the real magic lies under the hood. This is evident in many of the upgrades listed above. Scarlett 2i4 delivers high quality, 24-bit 96kHz audio to and from both Macintosh and Windows computers with USB 2.0 capability - and it's bus powered so you only need to plug in the included USB cable to start making music.Regarding the headphone output, yes you’ll be absolutely fine. The Scarlett preamps are extremely capable, and you’ll find that the headphones you’re mixing through are going to be the driving factor whether you can produce capable mixes.

The Scarlett 2i4 has been improved tenfold with a range of new features and functions that improve performance and audio quality. One of the most prominent upgrades is the new super-low latency performance. The super-low roundtrip latency improves performance and efficiency by minimising the delay between the original signal and the processed signal on your computer. This is paramount when recording vocals or instruments as it gives you the ability to record signals as close to real-time as possible. At Focusrite, we recognise the climate emergency that we’re living through, and are taking steps to reduce our environmental footprint as much as possible. I bought a 4i4 3rd and gave my 2i4 2nd gen to my son (end of october 2020). I needed the 2 extra inputs for a small mixer (for three external synths). The Saffire 6 USB 1.1 needs a driver on both Mac and Windows systems but it is no longer supported. Please see this article for more information.

THD+N < 0.01% (‘A’ weighted measured with +16dB input gain -1dBFS at output and 22Hz/22kHz bandpass filter) An award-winning online music store in Malaysia is the ultimate choice for musicians to discover a wide range of music production equipment and software.Anyway, as your question relates to purely home studio mixing, in-the-box, and working with soft synths, the short answer is that yes, the Scarletts (any of the generations) will be more than enough to cater for your larger instrument ensemble needs.

No longer require a restart when installing on a system that doesn’t already have a Focusrite driver installed Showroom (On Appointment Only): 27A, Jalan SS21/34, Damansara Utama, 47400, Petaling Jaya, Selangor (Above Ground Coffee) Focusrite Overview:Scarlett 2i4 is the latest in Focusrite's new generation of USB interfaces alongside the popular 2i2 and other products in the series. This 2-in, 4-out USB audio interface combines affordability, cross-platform operation, a comprehensive feature set and the best audio performance in its class. It's a perfect match for both the musician and the digital DJ - and it comes in an elegant, road-ready anodised aluminium unibody case.Tje panel control is quite handy but it may be confusing for beginners. I still have problems on windows. It sometimes crashes. This morning I had to reset the panel to factory defaults many times to get a sound. Ok in the afternoon. Jet lag? Probably an unstable windows driver. Latency wise: Focusrite points out: Scarlett 2nd and 3rd gen all abide by the USB 2 protocol. Plugging it in a usb3 slot does nothing more. It does not show as a usb3 device. I compared latency measures given on the Net for a 2i2 3rd gen with my 2i4 2nd gen. The latencies were lower on the 2i4 2nd gen.
