In terms of build quality, the QCY T13 don’t look especially solid, but feel decently robust and, in fact, they feel rather robust for the asking price. The SoundMagic E11BTs are an extremely capable pair of wireless in-ear earphones, and given their low price they're fantastic value. We genuinely found it difficult to fault them —the audio quality is fantastic and they look very elegant.

If you're looking for a solid pair of true wireless earbuds on a budget with noise cancelling baked in, then we highly recommend the Earfun Air Pro 3. The biggest downside here is the battery life. While you can get 16 hours of noise cancelling when you use the charging case, the earbuds themselves are only good for four hours of listening with ANC on. Otherwise, everything else about these earbuds is excellent, and the price is good too. There are some surprising features included here too, like on-earbud controls and built-in mics that we think are decent enough for making phone and video calls. I have maintained for a long time that cheap “true wireless” earphones are not there yet – they compromise too much on sound quality, among other things, to be a viable option. That is changing, though, and more and more entry-level TWS earphones are actually quite good for the price, to the point they are comparable to wired alternatives. The QCY T13 are among those who are making me change my mind, as they do a lot of things correctly. We wish we could say all Android users, but to get the full capabilities here (including 24-bit hi-res streaming), you need a Galaxy smartphone running Android 8.0 and One UI 4.0 or higher with 1.5GB RAM. If your device meets those base specifications, these earbuds are an obvious choice.

If you’re still having trouble, try connecting to a different Bluetooth device. This will help rule out any potential issues with your earbuds.
