You will need to set up your phone's Bluetooth before you begin, but this is a seamless experience, with the device being up and running within moments. Still, we enjoyed the experience so much that we didn't feel short-changed. We were especially happy with the option to adjust both the brightness and the projection speed, which makes the device great for setting a calm environment or an energetic party scene. Despite its compact size and unassuming appearance, this USB-powered projector is powerful for transforming any room into a celestial-like wonderland. Then there are scientific home planetariums that generally project 'real imagery,' so you can study and enjoy projections of real galaxies and nebulas from the comfort of your own home without investing in expensive astronomy equipment. These are much more likened to the more traditional planetariums that teach astronomy and related sciences. The Pococo Galaxy Star Projector is a worthy addition to this guide, and it is a good rival to the National Geographic Astro Planetarium and the much more expensive Sega Homestar Flux. During our full Pococo Galaxy star projector review, we found it a good value star projector with decent build and projection quality. There is a timer function that you can set for the projector to turn off after 15, 30 or 60 minutes. If you don't select one, the device will auto-power off after two hours. For us, this is a little short. If you wanted to project this alongside a sci-fi film for example it wouldn't last the duration. We'd prefer four hours as a minimum. During our Atmosphere Smart Galaxy Projector review, we were impressed by its sleek design that's sure to delight many: it's modern and compact, allowing the user to place it anywhere in the household without ruining the aesthetic. The unit can be adjusted to four angles, making it flexible enough to project from your selected surface onto the wall or ceiling.

The design quality is top notch, it really projects at HD quality. The galaxy scenes and colors are incredibly vivid and realistic. You can see every detail of the galaxy and stars unlike other room projectors that blurs or greys out. I also like how it rotates slowly like watching a real constellation, and how you can switch them out whenever you want based on your mood. Though clearly not a scientific star projector, it would transform your gaming room, party atmosphere or sleeping environment. As the motor is very quiet — near silent, in fact, the motor noise won't be a distraction, allowing you to focus on the immersive and impressive light patterns.
