About this deal

Hi, I’m Tim Peake. I’m an astronaut based here at the European Space Agency, in Germany. And from December 2015 to June 2016, I spent six months orbiting Earth on the International Space Station. Looking down on the Earth from the ISS gives you a completely new perspective on the planet. Something you get a sense of in this clip from professor Brian Cox, which takes in not just our own planet, but also looks at where it sits alongside the other planets in our solar system. I found this book really easy to read, it flowed really well. The way the author described everything I felt like I was actually there with them on the ship. The characters were all great, but I particularly liked Beth and Lauryn, they were my favourite. I think this book will be good for girls and boys equally and I will be telling all my friends to read it when it comes out. Brilliant book, ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ They're a billion miles from home. They're stranded on a crippled star ship. They can't wake the crew… Mag. 3.5 Meissa (Lambda (λ) Orionis) is found in a neglected group of stars known as Collinder 69 or the Lambda Orionis Association. Meissa makes a triangle with mag. 4.4 Pi 1 (π¹) Orionis and mag 4.1 Pi 2 (π 2) Orionis. Meissa and the cluster it resides in are thought to be 1,100 lightyears away and certainly worth looking at with larger binoculars.

Way out in the furthest part of the known world, a tiny stronghold exists all on its own, cut off from the rest of human-kin by monsters that lurk beneath the Snow Sea. Chisholm is a Scottish software designer and puzzle writer, and the plot of his novel shows that logical brain at work. All the action and characterisation fit together perfectly in a plot that will keep readers on their toes until that terrific twist at the end.

Step-by-step Make a conceptual plan But the constellation is also a rich hunting ground for observers and astrophotographers seeking deep-sky targets. Constellation of Orion by Zygmunt Szot, Comporta, Portugal. Equipment: Canon PowerShot G7 X, Joby Gorillapod Hybrid Tripod Author Guy Bass introduces SCRAP, about one robot who tried to protect the humans on his planet against an army of robots. Now the humans need his... And at the very furthest reaches of the Solar System, 4.5 billion km from the Sun, Neptune travels so slowly that it hasn’t completed a single orbit, since it was discovered in 1846.

In space, no one can hear you cry for help. The spaceship Orion is carrying a group of adults and children from Earth to Eos Five, where they will begin a new life. Orion Lost is perfect for boys and girls in Year 6, especially if you are a Star Wars or science fiction fan! My favourite scene was when Captain Murdoch was ready to take control of the machine to destroy the Videshi and the kids 'Jumped' the Orion huge distances.

Where do I start? This was an amazing read! For a first novel it can't be overstated how well crafted this book is. It manages to hit just the right mark to attract young and older readers. With tight, concise chapters - most ending on a cliffhanger of some sort - it begs to be read.

Also, I was pleased that it's as big as it is - there's a lot of story here, in a way that's perhaps unusual for middle grade books, but it's all there for a reason. I thought that the ending could perhaps have done with a little more and that's again an unusual thing for this age- There’s something tremendously evocative about glimpsing the bright stars of Orion over a wintery landscape – or towards the end of the autumn months just as the nights start to get longer and colder.Let me tell you, we were hooked. All of us. I binged read the book in three days fitting in chapters whilst stirring spaghetti and waiting for dance classes to finish. Most of the children finished within the 4 weeks and I was really impressed with their reading. They wanted to get it finished because they were enjoying it so much. Was Ship an enemy? Where was Captain Kier? Would Beth make a good Captain? So many questions, so many twists! What we did Now you may have had a problem where you are trying to think of an idea for a story. But you can't get it straight in your head until you start to write it down. Then you are not ready to write it down because you haven't quite got it straight in your head. It is easy to enjoy the view of the Orion Nebula alone, but a host of astronomical treasures awaits those willing to look a little closer. Home > It has an apparent diameter of 20 arcseconds, with small scopes revealing a star-like object at low magnification. Upping the power won’t show detail, but should reveal the elliptical shape of this planetary. Ship, ah the fun AI, is he good or is he not good. I loved how he was written. It made the story creepier because you had no clue if the AI was on your side… or on his own side.Orion Lost is a twisty adventure story set on a spaceship. In this new adventure form Alastair Chisholm, the transport ship Orion is heading to a new Earth colony when non of the parents can be woken, now with a significantyly younger crew, will they make it? This was my first sci-fi middle grade and it was fantastic. I had so much fun reading it. Chisholm can for sure write atmosphere, you never know if it will end well or not.
