About this deal

Remove any grounds that may have accumulated here using your brush and wipe both pieces with a hot damp cloth. Set both pieces aside to dry. If you want regular coffee instead of espresso, Wacaco offers a completely self-contained screw-mechanism coffee press called the Pipamoka that is similar to the Aeropressin function but is more of a self contained unit. While buying your grounds pre-ground means you’ve already achieved this perfectly fine grind, it is something we never recommend. As the espresso connoisseur you’re on your way to being, we recommend grinding your coffee beans fresh for a few reasons. I use my Nanopresso without the ‘gizmo’ so don’t worry if you’ve lost it, Just pump fast for the first 10 pumps to get the pressure up, otherwise the extraction will probably start before the optimal pressure is reached. The difference between using it with the pressurised portafilter is that it will resist extracting until sufficient pressure is reached. The downside is, that the Crema is far more bubbly, Purest will say it’s a fake crema, but it really doesn’t have much of an effect on the quality of the espresso. Hope that helps 🙂

I’m between Handpresso Auto Portable (for the ease of boiling water together with the mini compressor and the use of ese pods it has) and the nanopresso portable. Several factors affect the Nanopresso’s espresso extraction process, from water temperature to grind size. Learn which mistakes are the most common – and how to fix them. Water above this temperature means you over dissolve these flavor compounds (unbalanced). Water below this temperature means they won’t dissolve as easily (weak). And, when you put it like that, it’s clear to see that paying attention to your water temperature might be one of the most overlooked factors in proper brewing. Thanks Simon! I’m using the Barrista Kit, works the same. Extremely tamped, (presumably) “fine” grind on the 1Presso Mini Grinder, and a steady, lovely stream. While we may be satisfied, it’s never fully satisfied, is it? Good suggestion to tinker with grind until approaching the edge of drip-drip/bitter-slow extraction is reached. Then either configure that special ‘spot’ varying tamping and/or grind. And, I imagine, removing/replacing the pressure piece. This makes it much easier to apply pressure while holding the entire canister in place over your mug.

The Nanopresso by Wacaco

This means pressure is based on your physical pumping instead of a mechanical pump that can wear out over time.

Power used – The Nanopresso uses 15% less power to push the pumping knob than all other models. The pressure required is 261 psi, which is equivalent to a force equal to 13 kg. For ease of use, it is recommended that the Nanopresso be held with two hands.

Weight – The Nanopresso is only 0.74lbs, so you can easily take it with you on your travels. It is also made of strong and sturdy material, so you don’t need to worry about breaking it.

All brew methods Aeropress coffees Bean To Cup Coffees Espresso coffees French press coffees Pour-over coffees Siphon coffees Stable extraction – Once you have built the pressure by applying the necessary force, it remains stable during the entire extraction process. Minipresso I've taken my Nanopresso on hiking trips, road trips, and even to remote camping spots. It never disappoints. If you're a coffee enthusiast who loves the great outdoors, this little wonder is an absolute must-have. Thanks, Wacaco, for making my coffee breaks in the wild so much better!" 🏕️☕️ Nanopresso is made by a company called Wacaco. They also make the Minipresso, a slightly larger predecessor coming in at about 7 inches in length versus about 6 inches for the nano. Finally, the most important question: What is it like to drink the espresso? The good news is that the Nanopresso is capable of brewing a tasty cup of coffee; the bad news is that the inconsistencies in the brewing process also led to inconsistent flavor. There were times when the coffee was weak, which indicates that I used too coarse of a grind, whereas other times I couldn’t push enough water through the grounds because they were too fine.It goes without saying that this is an entirely different league than AeroPress Espresso. Nanopresso (left) vs Picopresso (right). It’s an easy K.O. win for the Picopresso. Who is it for? The Nanopresso is designed to be used with well-tamped and finely-ground coffee. Because of the pumping system, it uses less force than the previous model, the first generation Minipresso. The quality of coffee is extremely good due to the pressure, but it’s very important to get the grind right. You can buy the Wacaco Nanopresso online here. What do you need to use the Wacaco Nanopresso? The Wacaco Nanopresso is a bit of a beast, even thought it’s pretty small, light and sleek. If you’re an outdoorsy person and you need a VERY good espresso on the run, then this could be the machine for you.
