I have compassion on the poor and needy, and I am a Father to the fatherless, I help them, and I defend them. Far below Me are the heavens and the earth, I stoop to look down, and I lift the poor from the dirt and the needy from the garbage dump and I set them among princes. My precious child I want you to do these things also, have compassion on the poor and needy and help them, this is what it means to know Me. For I am Love, and when you live in love, you live in Me, and I live in you. Loving compassion is good, and this is what I require from you, to do what is right, to love compassion, and to walk humbly with your God. I want you to know that the only promise of forever comes from and through me. I want you to see the blessings I’ve given you, the beautiful ways life has fallen into place when you trust me and my plan. I want you to know that you will make mistakes, you will sin, you will hurt my heart over and over again. He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things? Your sentiments of the duties we owe to our country are such as become the best of women and the best of men. Among all the disappointments and perplexities which have fallen my share in life, nothing has contributed so much to support my mind as the choice blessings of a wife....All of you, clothe yourselves with humility toward one another, because, “God opposes the proud but shows favor to the humble.” Father, we long for the clarity of Your truth to dawn upon our minds and for the immensity of Your love to grip our hearts. — Alistair Begg

I am the Lord (Exodus 6:2), the King of Kings (1 Timothy 6:15), and the Righteous Judge (1 Peter 4:5) and it is a terrible thing to come under my judgment (Hebrews 10:31).
