The sound is great right out of the box. There is no app to tweak them which is nice to not over complicate things but still can be helpful. I would say they are more bass heavy but it is not over done.

Now both earbuds should begin to flash Blue & Red indicating that Pairing has been initiated. After a few seconds, your Left earbud should only flash blue, indicating that your earbuds are now paired with one another. I tested them out for about two weeks and I think thats more than enough time to form a proper opinion on these buds. I wasn't entirely sure what to expect from these earbuds because they are so small.

With the JBL Live Free 2, the company nails certain aspects but makes some puzzling decisions when it comes to others. With dual-pairing, I’ll be borrowing them from her frequently.
