About this deal

With the HD580x, you get a sense of height that is noticeably more prominent than the width factor, which hurts separation of instruments and makes it more of a vocalist’s ideal headphone and not one suited for wide sounding recordings.

At its very worst, the HD560S is an evolution of the HD500 series that doesn’t really deserve to be in the same conversation as the HD599. At its very best, the HD560S trade blows with the HD6X0. As always, the truth is usually somewhere in middle; where exactly it is up to you to find out. Now let’s talk about the thing that matters the most in a headphone, the sound system. As we said earlier, the Sennheiser HD6XX provides amazing and lifelike sound quality and for such a reasonable price, which makes the headphone more desire-worthy. Table of Contents Introduction Sennheiser has been busy with the gaming market, comprising of eleven models split between the GSP and It’s hard to nail down the right classification for these headphones because they’re technically all of the above. Yes, the HD8XX comes off as fairly warm due to the contrast between the lower and upper mids; yes, the HD8XX is technically “V”-shaped due to its mids being less emphasised than its bass and treble; and yes, all of these characterisations basically revolve around a distinct centre-midrange “hole”. It has a huge frequency response of 10 Hz to 41 kHz, which is phenomenal for a headphone that costs way less than 500 USD. To help illuminate granular instrumental texture and vivid clarity across the board, a laser tight response helps up the top.

The Heron 5 is also wider than tall and not extremely forward. So, when referencing the HD58x with this amplifier, the experience feels wildly different in a physical sense. However, again, the HD6xx is the scaling champion in the mid-tier world. If you have a very nice middle tier or lower end or Summit level amplifier and DAC already, then the HD6xx churns itself into a more clean and clear feeling experience. But you NEED that for the HD6xx. On lower end gear, the gap between quality overall in bass between these two is not significant at all and sometimes feels too close to call which is objectively cleaner. The HD58x Jubilee has very low to end of moderate levels of bass quantity and doesn’t respond very well to bass boosting. If you are a basshead, grab a set of JVC SZ2000’s, haha! Instead of coming with a normal carrying case or pouch, it comes with this this big box which I hate. It's not travel friendly ONE BIT, it has a cutout to place the headphones in which isn't even fully snug or designed well, and the box is prone to getting easily dirty and its hard to clean or the material comes off. I'm going to sell my pair and the box already looks a bit like hell, and I've barely done anything to it. Why? Just why? It’s easy to regard the HD 6XX’s sound signature as just another dynamic-driven headphone, bringing with it traits that often have audiophiles drawing lines in the sand between those who love a drop of pleasing warmth in their sonic coffee, and those who demand near-clinical dedication to the recording as it was originally rendered. However, what is so pleasing about the HD 6XX (and the 650 before them) is that these headphones offer a pleasant mixture of each, for a best-of-both-worlds scenario. Bill Roberson/Digital Trends

The Music style I usually listen are classical music, Japanese Pop and female singers, such as Beyonce and Celine Dion. The separation on mids and bass is average. I found it not enough, and it contributes to a poor sense of detail. I could hear all parts of my music though; think of it like a fuzzy picture. Sound bleeds together even though its all there. The treble escapes this poor separation however. And there are so many great headphones from different brands currently available in the market, from which you can choose the one perfect for you. And you should be careful about choosing the headphone as different kinds and models of headphones offer different things, and you should choose the one according to your need and spend your money on that. The only difference is I was less negative overall as with some basic EQ and you really only need to EQ the giant hole, it’s pretty darn good. The bloom isn’t as much of an issue once the hole is fixed, as it’s made worse by the contrast of the hole. With Sony being one of the best TV brands, you pretty much already know that the Sony 65-inch Bravia XR A80L OLED TV is going to be an unmissable TV. It offers exceptional OLED picture quality with a ton of key features. For instance, there's XR OLED Contrast Pro which analyzes and enhances the picture so you get immersive depth and realism, along with ultra-detailed shadows and crisp highlights.HD6XX for music production.HD6XX has very good resolution for its price segment and portrays instruments in the mix with good realism. I’ve used quite a few headphones in my career as a music professional but have always felt confident having a Sennheiser HD600 series headphone around in the past when working on guitar, bass or drum tones because of how naturally and realistically HD600 series headphones are able to recreate the image, tonality and timbre of the instruments with good resolution. HD6XX is no different in this regard and I found myself using the HD6XX more and more for my production work than others. HD6XX isn’t a headphone that boosts treble like crazy for detail retrieval but in fact does it with technical capability and tuning while maintaining a warm and easy sound signature that helps in keeping long production hours and listening sessions fatigue free. But that’s just its system, if you don’t want it at all, then this headphone is not for you. Anyway if you choose to use this anyway, you can’t use it everywhere, like outside or while traveling.

As HD6XX is an upgrade from HD650, it might have some upper hand, but both are great in their own ways. So, you can choose any of them for your audio needs. They won’t disappoint for sure if you deeply care for audio quality. We don't get much, but we get the most necessary, which is quite sufficient in terms of price. Here, the headphones themselves are clearly in the foreground, and even without accessories, the price would justify itself for me.In the high frequencies the HD6XX is a bit more reserved than it should be. It sounds absolutely realistic and provides a lot of information, but in the top end it might be a few dB more without making the sound too bright or artificial in my opinion. This could also give the HD6XX more transparency. Here I would like a more direct response, but as in the bass and mids this is criticism on a high level, because basically the HD6XX does everything right when it comes to natural sound reproduction. Only a little bit the effervescence is missing, but life is not a rainbow-colored unicorn and therefore you can't really blame the HD6XX when it tries to stay authentic. Sibilants or peaks I can't make out, which makes for an absolutely safe and fatigue-free sound experience. Tonal correctness is clearly more important for the HD6XX than the big show. Sennheiser doesn’t quite claim that, but hype has been slowly building where the HD560S may be a viable replacement for the legendary HD6X0 headphones. My interest was piqued but now they have my attention. Is the HD560S all that’s cropped up to be? So, if you are okay with these facts, then you should go for this headphone as the sound quality itself is a lot for the headphone. Final Words For our testing, we tried two amps: a traditional desktop DAC/amp from Creative and a portable DAC/amp from THX called the THX Onyx. Both have the signal output to drive these headphones given their high sensitivity, but it should be feasible to drive them from some phones and portable audio players without an additional piece of hardware.

So apart from being perfect in sound, it also offers an open stage sound range. You can find amazing details in different music that you weren’t able to find before. So, as a whole, the HD6XX is top-notch regarding the audio system. Things You Need to Know Do note that unit variation may potentially be a thing here, some reviewers have gotten units that have quite a bit more treble than what I listened to.)

HD58X Specifications

The Sennheiser HD650 has a very good sound quality as the sound distortion is very low. Though a little high-frequency coloration might occur, it is not that much to care about. The bass sound is really warm and good and the details of the sounds can listen in an exceptional manner. A bit rolled off, not really sure what else I have to say. It's just smooth, non-piercing, etc. I think I can hear part of the famous "Senhessier veil". Try songs like Hannah Diamond – Fade Away. That song has a quite bright female vocal and while it won’t take it away, it’s a bit less airy. I dont understand the full story of crowdsourcing and how it applies to this headphone but ill explain what i do understand.
