The draft roll in respect of the 2023 revaluation will therefore require to be published on 30 November 2022. Where periods of 14 days are referred to in this paragraph, the date of issue of the decision, or, where relevant, the proposal determination date is to be taken to be the first day of the 14 day period. CAMBRIDGE UNIVERSITY REPORTER - For staff

Once an appeal is brought, the appeal may be withdrawn only with the approval of the First-tier Tribunal. You may spend hours working on one video until it’s perfect – only to accidentally close out of the app or lose your progress altogether. By creating a draft first, you’ll avoid losing all that hard work! Additionally, drafts allow creators to experiment with different styles and edits until they settle on what works best for them. ii) where the lands and heritages fall within the description in section 7B of the 1956 Act( [34]) (rateable value of certain buildings used for rearing horses), the amount which is to be taken as their rateable value in terms of that section and a note to the effect that the rateable value is determined according to section 7B of the 1956 Act,The assessor will retain the right to postpone a PDD. This mirrors the current arrangements in place for valuation appeal committee hearings. Recent events such as the COVID pandemic have demonstrated the importance of this administrative flexibility. The proposer will have the right to request an earlier PDD if they deem this to be too late. We agree that in cases where the assessor fails to issue a decision on the proposal, the assessor should be required to provide a written notification to the proposer with an explanation of why this is the case. While one response called for the time period during which a proposal could be lodged to be reduced to three months instead of the proposed four, the majority of responses called for a longer timescale with some suggested a period of six months. As part of the Annual Summary Revision, polling stations, having more than 1500 electors, shall be rationalized/modified as per the given schedule and before the draft publication of electoral rolls in accordance with instructions contained in Manual on Polling Station, 2020. A new Polling Station shall be created only after rationalizing the sections to the adjacent Polling Stations to the possible extent. Other objectives of rationalization of polling stations are to group all the family members and neighbors in a section. Some responses called for the assessor to provide to the proposer the same level of information as the proposer would have to share at the point of lodging a proposal. Others suggested that the assessor’s written statement in response to the proposal should be specifically ‘in relation to the detailed grounds and evidence on which the proposal was made’.

Part 5: Draft Valuation Roll And Valuation Notice (Scotland

a) correcting any error of measurement, survey or classification or any clerical or arithmetical error, i) where the lands and heritages consist of a salmon fishery which is required to be entered on the valuation roll by section 11(2) or (3) of the Salmon Act 1986( [36]) (cases where the assessor is required, on certain requests being made to them, to value the fishery and enter it on the valuation roll), a note to that effect. Form of valuation notice ii)to alter the entry otherwise than in accordance with the proposal, or with an agreement reached between the proprietor, tenant or occupier and the assessor, in writing, after the proposal was made, or Where the assessor accepts a proposal as being complete, but fails to set a proposal determination date, the last date for lodging an appeal is 14 days after the beginning of the period of 70 days before the end date on or before which the assessor must issue a decision on the proposal.

The assessor will retain the right to refuse to consider an incomplete proposal but this will no longer be a requirement, and we will also require the assessor, when deeming a proposal incomplete, to specify what information is missing within 56 days of receiving the proposal. The proposer will then have 28 days to provide this information before the proposal is deemed withdrawn. This will avoid the need to submit a fresh proposal.
