It is also impervious to UV light, another factor that causes coffee to lose freshness. Yes – Most dry goods will remain smell proof inside the Coffeevac V. However our degassing Valve was designed to allow any build up of gas or odors to escape, so if you have a product that omits gas or is particularly strong smelling then this odor will leak out of the degassing valve. This TIGHTVAC kitchen container has a capacity for 1kg / 3.8L. With a simple pressure, the air is removed from the container so the content stays fresh for longer. Ideal for coffee, tea, flour... but also to keep other foods fresh for longer in your fridge. BPA-free. Yes - To open simply push the press button on the cap, and pull the cap off. To close, push the press button, no need to pump, push cap down onto the body and with this motion the cap volume of air is eliminated, creating a vacuum seal, it’s that simple! It is also possible to push the cap slowly down without pressing the button. This is the way our one way degassing valve eliminates carbon dioxide buildup.
