About this deal

I've got a few Oceanus models with a battery over 16 years old and they still take and hold charge fine. In Time Mode, you can set the display to display the Day/Date, digital seconds or digital time (hour:minutes). Otherwise, you’re looking at a digital stopwatch, countdown timer, world time or one of five alarms. Nailed it! The Lineage watches are solar powered and that makes the Battery Level Indicator particularly useful.

A battery that reads Mid doesn’t mean the battery is wearing out. It just means the battery needs to be charged until it reads Hi. My AE1200 does feel cheap (which it is) and rattly...until correctly sized and then is actually not bad at all....I guess it's all relative. It's amazing just how many variations there are for models with the 5161 module from the face colour, negative / positve LCD, Arabic characters on some, to incredibly subtle differences in the design of the hands and indices.

More about this manual

I have the WVA640 TD (same module) with a bracelet similar to the 170 but with the adjustment like the 100. As we know, the bracelet leaves a lot to be desired. The worst part, IMO is the clasp. I do not understand why manufacturers make clasps without at least one full link's worth of fine adjustment. I was in that unfortunate position where I needed something in between having the bracelet attached at the far hole and adding another link. The M170D measures 9.2mm deep and 39.5mm across the case, with a total lug-to-lug distance of 46.4mm. The lug width is 20mm. The case is round with no crown (button) guards or protrusions. These measurements make you think the watch will wear well on any wrist size, but the design of the dial and lugs make the watch wear bigger. More on that later. I think I've settled on titanium and sapphire (especially since the mineral face on the orange one has a set of scratches on it; it bothers only me but it does bother me!). The Lineage LCW-M510D depends on Casio’s Multi Band 6 technology. Every night, the watch synchronizes itself with a radio time signal sent from a transmission station in Japan, North America, UK, Europe or China (depending on your location). If you’re out of range, the quartz watch delivers +/- 15 seconds per month accuracy.

The series represents the elegant men’s watch that fits any dress code and at the same time offers a number of key features such as Radio Signal Reception, Solar Power and Water Resistance. Casio's timepiece merges a strong titanium case with a silver wristband made of titanium. Casio Wave Ceptor Titanium LCW-M100 I am certain that many reading this (my first post here) know way more than I do about these topics.

Before buying the Casio Wave Ceptor Titanium LCW-M100

The OP speaks of the 'cheapness' of the bracelets and that's a real pity but these aren't particularly expensive watches and overall they're pretty decent, especially for the features and materials used. Once the watch has been set to local time, it’s ready to receive the relevant radio signal to adjust your watch to the correct time. When I started looking into these watches, I ended up buying the M170. It looks classier, the floating indices and crosshair dial make it stand out a bit more in a sea of generic sports watches, and I figured with dimensions like those it would fit perfect on my 7" wrist. However the design and overall look of the watch make it wear bigger than it is...and I wasn't happy with it. I saw the M100 going for a good price and bought it too to compare, and I'm glad I did. They really look great and should appeal to all gentlemen who wants a goodlooking, super-accurate watch with a classic, analog look and feel. The bracelet links are connected with a friction-fit pin and collar system. I removed three links to bring it down to my size. The clasp has two micro-adjustment positions. If your wrist doesn’t correspond with a multiple of the links you’re SOL. Set and Forget
