About this deal

It's a very special day for the Nintendo 3DS. Today is the tenth anniversary of this legendary 3D handheld system. The menu screen allows players to manage their items and Pokemon. Here you can also change gameplay settings such as audio, video, and other interfaces that appear in the game. Running the game I also had the N2DS XL in lime green. I like that one better, as it was lighter and had a better hinge.

One was traded for an XL. 1 broke because of Smash, 1 didn’t survive moving, 1 was bought for my son. I’ve also bought 2 used in the last year as found them for great prices. The man who trades the player an Electrode on Cinnabar Island claims that the Raichu he received "went and evolved". As Raichu does not have an evolved form, this is not possible. In the context of Japanese Pokémon Blue, it makes sense as the player trades away a Kadabra, which evolves through trade, for a Graveler. Finally, to continue the trend, I had to buy the New 3DS Xl Triforce edition to complete my Zelda collection. One of the best hardware Nintendo ever produced without a doubt. Honestly don't remember all of them. I remember the original, and I now have the New XL. Don't remember if I got the original XL. Got the 2DS for my daughter, but now it's just collecting dust. Bought mine the day it released and am a Nintendo Ambassador. And I still can't believe that it took them almost 10 years to design one that didn't make the top screen dirty or scratched.Three in total. My first was an original, but that one got stolen. I currently have two original XLs.

Nintendo Handheld Console - Blue (Nintendo 3DS XL)

According to the Pokémon Pokédex Collector's Edition (Prima's Official Pokémon Guide), Red and Blue were developed by a team of nine members.

Though they brought Pokémon to international fame following the success of the Japanese Red and Green, Pokémon Red and Blue have retrospectively been met with criticism, especially compared to later releases in the series. Many Pokémon look very little like their appearance in the anime, which premiered nearly simultaneous with the games' North American release, or later games, which improved on several other aspects as well as the graphics. Some have also accused the Kanto region itself and the Pokémon in it of being blander or less detailed than later regions and regional Pokédexes.

Pokemon Blue Version is a Nintendo 3DS re-release of the 1996 classic published by Nintendo for the GameBoy. Along with the Pokemon Red Version, it debuted in 2016 for the 3DS console. This date coincided with the date of the original release of the Pokemon Blue Version. Considering the games are re-released, many elements of the story and gameplay have stayed the same. I used the pokemon modifier to catch me a poliwag but when the pokemon appear, it’s not showing poliwag, it’s showing a strange form…Several official sources, such as Pokémon.com [16] and Iwata Asks interview, [17] incorrectly state that these games were released in Europe on June 10, 1999. This error appears to have come from the confusion of American and European date formats (the game was released in different parts of Europe on different days from October 5 to 8). I owned a bunch of them at the same time but it was kind of like more for buying and then reselling than for me personally. I think i only owned one 3DS at a time which i actually used personally. I'm in the never group. I wasn't doing much gaming when the system first came out. Then the 3D effect was unpleasant for me when I tried it in a store, which made it even less compelling. There were some games that did interest me, though I can't remember what they were, aside from the Sega Ages stuff. I did contemplate getting one of the various 2DS models at certain points. I liked the concept of those, even that weird first slab model. I could never justify buy more just because of editions. One person can play only just so many... (now we can ask why I do have every possible version of Ocarina of Time...) The latter is still in use of course, such a shame that we never got a regular red N3DSXL in EU (I don’t mind mine being a MH edition, because I am a MH fan anyhow)

Later, I got the 3DS XL for the bigger screens (I think it was the red one), trading in the original one. As A leaving note, anyone else a bit down that Netflix never got around to putting 3D Movies on the 3DS Netflix app? All right, here's how much of a problem I have. Bought the teal one at launch. Sold it to pay for the XL. XL broke and bought a 2DS. Bought a New 3DS XL and gave the 2DS to my gf at the time. Sold the New XL for a regular sized New 3DS once that came out; I wanted a smaller system. And now my New 3DS is basically inoperable. Battery is dead and several buttons aren't responsive anymore, so it sits in a drawer never to be played again. Since the 3DS isn't sold anymore, I'll never play Kirby Planet Robobot ever again 😭The Nintendo 3DS input controls include the following: a round nub analog input called the Circle Pad, a D-pad, four face buttons (A, B, X, Y), bumper buttons (L, R), a Home button, Start and Select buttons, and a Power button. It also features a dedicated volume slider and a wireless switch, which turns on or off wireless communications. The touchscreen can be interacted with either the user's finger or a stylus bundled with the handheld. There is also a six-axis motion sensor, which includes a 3-axis accelerometer and a 3-axis gyroscope. Through the Circle Pad Pro accessory the system has access to a second Circle Pad and trigger buttons (Z L, Z R). [101] Game card [ edit ] In each city they visit, the protagonist will find a Pokemon Gym established in the area. Upon battling and defeating the Gym Leaders, the protagonist obtains Gym Badges. There are a total of eight to gather, and upon doing so, you will gain access to the Indigo League. Trades between Pokémon games in different languages are possible; however, a Japanese game cannot connect with a non-Japanese game without causing corruption. This is due to the fact that the games cannot automatically translate the Pokémon data from Japanese to a different language or vice versa, since neither game fully encodes both kana and the Latin alphabet (only encoding one fully and the other partially). If a battle between a Japanese game and a non-Japanese game is attempted, the battle simply does not work, with the save files left unharmed.
