About this deal

It sounds fine. I am used to the sound from Sirius and I would say it is about the same quality. I was expecting worse so I guess I am satisfied.

and The re connection of Bluetooth works great as well. As soon as I get in the car, without any interaction, my iPhone connects to both the WMA3000B and the on board BMW phone connection. My phone (iPhone 6) is connected via bluetooth to the car for calls, and via bluetooth to the Tune2Air for streaming.I took a leap and bought Tune2Air for BT streaming from an iPhone to MMI2G B&O. I mainly use it for streaming Spotify, and it's worked really well so far–at least well enough that I consider the problem solved. My Bae has a Hyundai Elantra truth be told it has more wiz bang features than the Audi including the seat heaters in the Hyundai miles above the Audi. If the iPhone is also connected via Bluetooth for the handsfree phone, then the music cuts out every once in a while, more often in the beginning when the phone book is syncing, but it also does it after it's been connected for a while. Not so much that's its annoying, but almost. If I connect the MMI handsfree to my Windows Phone, the iPhone/Tune2Air music never cuts out.

I had some issues getting my phone to connect and stay connected. At first it wouldn't connect at all and then it would connect but then drop after a few seconds. I am not sure what the issue was because now my phone connects instantly and stays connected even when the T2A is in my closed console. This after about a day of use. I like how small the thing is. It fits very easily in my console and leaves lots of room. I'm considering mounting it to the underside of the armrest with velcro or something to keep it even more out of the way. Anyone with the update been able to skip songs on spotify/pandora with the physical buttons on the main car console? When I press mine with my old firmware it starts my iTunes and skips to the second song. So annoying. Also, do song names from spotify finally show up on the dash? As I said – the clear winner is the Tune2Air for most people. I’ve used both, I like both, but if I have the option in future I will continue to install Tune2Air whenever possible. How to install your adapter in less than 2 minutes(!) Wireless connection with Apple device via special Bluetooth technology with automatic reconnection, Read and display entire iPod library from your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch on car displayI raked around for quite a while to find the best solution– a few of the features that were important to me were: It also works across all body styles – so saloon (or sedan to some!), coupe, convertible and touring (or estate to others!) Works great...BUT... every time the phone is connected to the WMA1000 AND "Media" is selected from the Audi console, it WILL start Google Play Music automatically. I tried pressting the "stop" button from the Android phone.. it stop for 2 seconds, then music starts again. Anyone experiencing this with ANY Android phone? It's annoying that there are times where I do NOT want to listen to music BUT still want to listen to sound coming out from my phone.

I have A5 S_line with MMI2G.What is a best solution to stream music from cell phone via bluetooth.Im thinking to buy Tune2Air but I dont know if is a good choice and if you have some other idea please let me know Example: navigation using the phone and a phone comes in - I NEED to stop the music but I cannot. Right now, all I can do is turn down the volume but that WILL also turn down the navigation AND call volume.Old thread :-) Retain the OEM hands free voice call functionality– I didn’t want to add additional wiring and microphones to the car so I wanted to keep the original hands free system in place. This has the bonus of not requiring the car to be stripped to pieces when installing!Display your entire iPod music library on your original car screen from your iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch

If you value OEM integration, ease of useand you DO NOTwant to rip your car interior apart then there is really only one option… a Tune2Air! I'm looking at getting the Tune2Air to allow music to be streamed remotely by Bluetooth but have read up that there are a few versions of the Tune2Air. Another feature I looked for was compatability with music streaming services– I use Spotifyalmost exclusively for music so it was essential anyretrofit kit would be compatible with it.

Whenever I change my car I set about ensuringthat I can stream my music playlists (alright, I really want the podcasts!) from Spotify through the stereo. As you have probably noticed by now I have a preference to keep the interior as OEM as possible– including retaining steering wheeland headunit controls! So no batteries are needed for the tune2air? This is great because this product http://a2dp4audi.netmagi.com/ supposedly needs a power source if you have 2g mmi. I'm guessing tine2air is powered because it emulates the ipod connection rather than the aux connection? From my Phone, I can stream pod cast, Apple radio and most important to me... My Music playlists! http://s1.bimmerfest.com/forums/images/smilies/laugh.gif Power button on the console mutes the car stereo and pauses audio on the phone as you would expect.
