About this deal

Focus on the rising and falling of your breath for ten seconds whenever you feel tense, rushed, or distracted. The code of the extraordinary mind CHAPTER 10: EMBRACE YOUR QUEST: Where We Learn How to Put It All Together and Live a Life of Meaning Designed by Mindvalley Founder Vishen Lakhiani based on his own daily practice, it’s a distillation of hundreds of the world’s most powerful personal growth books. And is designed for remarkable transformation in minimal time. Researcher Jules Davidoff studied this question among a particular tribe called the Himba, in Namibia. The Himba have many different words for green but no word for blue. LESSON 3: When you replace disempowering models of reality with empowering ones, tremendous changes can occur in your life at a very rapid pace. Law 4:

Blissipline is short for “discipline of bliss.” And it is something you can achieve via three simple steps: gratitude, forgiveness, and giving.

Where We Learn How to Make Sure That the Goals We're Chasing Will Really Lead to Long-Term Happiness

Once you discover the code, you will question your limits and realize that there are none. Step into a new understanding of the world around you and your place in it, and find yourself operating at a new, extraordinary level in every way...happiness, purpose, fulfilment, and love. We usually tend to focus forward, meaning we’re looking at all the things and goals we want and work towards. There’s a gap between who you are now and who you will be when you accomplish those things. This is your forward gap. Now, Dan says if you instead focus on your reverse gap, meaning the gap you’ve already closed, the stuff that’s behind you, the things you’ve accomplished, you’ll see how far you’ve already come – and be a lot happier. Bending reality is so named because when you’re operating in this state, you tend to have a feeling that everything in life is bending in your direction, that you are effortlessly making things happen—and that anything is possible. Afterwatching the interview I researched him a bit more and found out he had his own education and publishing company called Mindvalley. Focused towards helping students learn more, better and cultivate better habits for themselves, Vishen spent over 200 hours over the past years interviewing successful people, like Richard Branson, Elon Musk, Arianna Huffingtonand others. What if everything we think we know about how the world works--our ideas of love, education, spirituality, work, happiness, and love--are based on Brules (bullsh*t rules) that get passed from generation to generation and are long past their expiration date?

If you are new to self development, this book is a nice intro. I liked the 6 phase meditation. But if you are a self help junkie like me searching for gems and hate repetitive (even subliminal) advertising, don't read it. And the idea behind it is that you’re living in the now, while working for the future. People are usually unhappy because they confuse the present and the future. Don’t ever do that: you have more than you think already, even as you’re reading this sentence!

I will call this book a live your life as you want book because this book helps you to rethink your whole life and then provides tools to correct the things which were wrong in your past to lead you an extraordinary life. When you’re happy in the present moment and pulled forward by a vision for the future, your inner and outer worlds mesh seamlessly. Practice consciousness engineering. Extraordinary minds understand that their growth depends on two things: their models of reality and their systems for living. They carefully curate the most empowering models and systems and frequently update themselves. The limitations of today’s models of reality and systems for livingVishen is an author and entrepreneur in the ed-tech space. He is the founder and CEO of Mindvalley, an education technology company specialising in learning experience design.

PART III: RECODING YOURSELF: TRANSFORMING YOUR INNER WORLD The code of the extraordinary mind CHAPTER 6: BEND REALITY: Where We Identify the Ultimate State of Human Existence But then you do something original and wild. Perhaps you write a new type of children’s book, as J. K. Rowling did with the Harry Potter books. Or, like the Beatles, you decide to move away from traditional sounds and create an original type of music. Or, like entrepreneur Elon Musk, you decide to popularize the electric car. Some misfits will fail. But some will succeed, and when they do, they make a dent in a culturescape. It is possible to be spiritual but not religious. Examining your models of reality in the twelve areas of balanceNow, you’re ready for the third phase: recoding yourself. This one consists of three laws once again. There are tons of powerful insights. Such as why conventional goal setting is a pathway to despair. As James Altucher would put it: You have to make yourself the only person who controls your dreams. LESSON 1: Our models of reality lie below the surface. Often we do not realize we have them until some intervention or contemplative
