About this deal

Despite her enmity for Nagah, she’s not the hot-headed beast that some of her Soulblight cousins act like. Relying on a complex network of spies and political infiltrators, Neferata weaves her will through enemy factions, fracturing entire dynasties and swooping up their power to inflate her own standing. Petty grievances are not forgotten, but left to fester into justifications for war. Saving one of the best till last here in the Necromancer. Armed with his trusty staff, Deadwalker wound sponge in Undead Minions and Vanhel’s Danse Macabre you’ve got yourself a model which will appear in a lot of lists. Vanhel’s Danse Macabre being cast on a 6 means it won’t always go off but you’ll be casting it nearly every turn and it lasts until your next hero phase so you can use it with the Skeletons mentioned later to try and pre-empt the enemy coming in and regen more than you otherwise might think you’ll be able to. Queen of the Avengorii dynasty, Lauka Vai represents all the best features of her vampiric followers: a monstrous physique so warped it grants her the unmatched strength of a beast. Originally a monster-hunting knight, a chance encounter with prime splicer Tzeentch left her a half undead-bat-drake-monster, perpetually torn between the primal instincts of her monstrous half and noble origins. Overall, good changes. The old book’s spell list held up surprisingly well and keeping them intact was a good call. It’s helped further by Nagash knowing all 13 spells and given he can cast 8 spells a turn at full health, that is a lot of versatility. Bloodlines

Radukar The Beast (Soulblight Gravelords) - Rogue Games

Also revealed in Monday’s stream was the absolute stallion of unbound malevolence that is the model for Kragnos, the End of Empires, a brand new major character in the AoS canon. A super-tall, visually incredible sculpt, this lady is going to be in high demand for Soulblight armies. In a welcome twist, the kit can also be constructed as a generic, non-named-character variant, the Vengorian Lord, which in itself looks pretty ace. If you’re interested in a broader overview of the fantastical factions that call the Mortal Realms home, have a read of our Age of Sigmar armies guide. But if the sight of immortal fiends doesn’t shake your bones, then read on.

Lady Annika, the Thirsting Blade and Kritza the Rat Prince are two melee hero’s who’ve also been added to the Roster of the Gravelords. While fantastic little models they’re really not much to write home about here. Kritza’s price point is really appealing but they’re what they are and don’t bring a lot more to the army past their combat abilities. Kritza especially might make it into some forces, just through the fact he’s a constant annoyance and won’t just leave the field.

In the Hobby: Discussing Composition for Miniatures Painting

I'm playing Vyrkos and I really want Vyrkos legion to be represented by thematic units, aspecially when they exist. So I'll deffinetly take Vyrkos Bloodborn, Zombie Ogors and Vargskyr. Others are ok, just not interested right now. And proxy Radukar the Wolf as Custom Vampire Lord, because he has right base size of 40mm. You can learn all about this returning deity in Broken Realms: Kragnos, which will finish out the series with a bang. And with that, Day 1 of Warhammer Fest Online is in the books. Be sure to tune in tomorrow (and every day through to Saturday) at 6pm BST for more model reveals and breaking news on upcoming releases. You can find the daily schedule right here if you missed it. Some vampires were bestial and crazed, bound to leap upon any mortal that passed them by. Others attempted a modicum of civility, building great cities to generate production lines of fresh meat. Others still lurked in the shadows, keeping their courts hidden from the forces of Chaos and human encroachment. verwhelmed by his wrath, Radukar has undergone a terrifying transformation. The bestial monster within has come to consume the vampire almost entirely, and he now fights with a raw and brutal fury, his ferocious howls ringing through the night.A new (if very old) face is Radukar’s great great (we don’t really know how many greats) grandmother (grandsire?), Belladamma Volga. Clad in luxurious, somewhat slav-esque garb, and furs, and riding a huge Dire Wolf side-saddle, she’s a deeply unnerving combination of apparent physical frailty, and huge implicit threat, sat on top of what has to be one of Age of Sigmar’s simplest, but finest, scenic character bases yet. I just don’t want to be that guy who puts a big effort into the Cursed City themed board who nobody wants to play because his army is fundamentally too weak... Here is one I tried recently: Vampires and werewolves join forces in Belladamma Volga. The dreaded matriarch of the Vrykos Soulblight bloodline, old Mrs Volga is the only leader of a vampiric dynasty to not owe her cursed powers to Nagash. Instead, an ancient ‘godbeast’ is responsible for her bloodline’s distinctly lupine curse, which manifests in not only a wolfish appearance but an intimate connection to rabid animals.

The last faction to release before the launch of Age of Sigmar third edition, the Soulblight Gravelords represent a reimagining of the Vampire Counts of old, a replacement of the tired Legions of Nagash, and a brand new army in their own right. If ranks of shambling skeletons, bloodthirsty beasts, arcane magic, and the colour red appeal, these ghouls should make you feel right at home. Our goal is to build upon and consolidate the great work already being done by other community members across various forums, reddit threads, and hobby blogs, and bring together a comprehensive library of all these useful Build Instruction booklets. Blood Knights are the next fan favourite. Elite cavalry adept at swift movement and charging enemy flanks, they’ll sit nicely in any Soulblight army, and will be relied upon to deliver the hard-hitting punches. The Kastelai Dynasty makes particularly effective use of them, fielding the knights as battleline units and boosting their damage against Hero and Monster targets. We are a small team of Warhammer Enthusiasts and miniature collectors, hoping to support and further promote the hobby.Looking at the new models, Lauka Vai is simply spectacular – hideous, and disturbing, and yet full of alluring, debonair charm that only vampires can exude, she’s about as sexy a creature as you’re likely to find, that’s essentially a human torso protruding from a ghoulish, distended bat-body. It used to be a command ability, meaning in theory you could do it multiple times a turn. This was easier said than done, however.
