The ethereal rose. This was a scent that I chose for my friend. She's a fan of very fresh crisp scents like D&G Light Blue but was looking for something a little bit more powdery for wintertime. What can I say...I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT. pure grace s my favorite lotion to use right after a nighttime shower, it seems i sleep better when i use it before bed. Smells very summery to me... beachy, fresh, almost like sunscreen. All in the best way. I love it as a body lotion and whenever I use it, I feel so relaxed and uplifted. Definitely plan on getting a full bottle.I think if you're a big Dior or Chanel fan, for example, a fragrance like this might *seem* a bit pedestrian, because it's not a sillage monster and it's not overly girly... and some like fragrances that announce them, or are recognisable (in a bold way) where this one is noticeable but it's not going to clobber any over the head. For those reasons...it has it's place in my collection. Will usually wear it when I'm running to Laundromat & grocery store on a Sunday or something like that. Overall, I quite like it but for the price I'd rather spend it on something else. It's way too soft (even softer than Burberry Brit Rhythm, which is already very soft on me) and if I want the cleanness, I can just take an extra shower and emerge with the same clean smell on me at a bargain price. Still, for those of you who like fragrance that doesn't attract attention and is quite safe, this might just be for you. Pure Grace features pure, crisp soap and water notes, creating the simplest, cleanest scent imaginable. Clean ironed bedsheets, lavender tea, white silk pajamas, late nights freshly showered, staring at the moon. The crispiest clean scent I’ve ever encountered. Cooling, innocent, relaxing, inoffensive. I could lay in bed and bask in this. Lasts for hours on my skin and i’m obsessed with that lavender note + musk. It’s so refreshing. There’s a hint of sweetness there that makes this feminine and graceful, delicate even. It’s such a “good girl” scent, pure grace indeed.

I like to use this in the summer when I feel my sweatiest and grossest .. it helps me feel a little fresher. It’s also oddly solar and sunscreen-y. That’s probably a personal association, but that too makes this work best in the summer.I just received this perfume a few days ago and it is NOTHING like I thought it would be! I was under the impression it would smell like a nice, clean, creamy soap. Kinda like a bar of Dove soap. Not at all. To me this smells so, so similar to Tom Ford's Soleil Blanc. I get a lot of that same citrusy coconut vibe that SB has. Almost verging on a citrus cleaner or bug spray. Absolute soap scent. That I absolutely love! The lavender is prominent, so if you don't like lavender, skip this one. The notes I detect in this are water lily, lavender + soft dewy green notes & light musk. I do like this perfume but I don't love it like I thought I would. I wanted a real fresh laundry smell. If anyone knows of a perfume that smells like straight up laundry please let me know about it! The original and beloved scent, pure grace eau de toilette takes soap and water simplicity to a new sophisticated level with a mix of water lily, leafy greens and musk for a crisp and refreshing feeling that lasts even longer. But when i pulled on a pad, a whole tread of roots and more pads came along, including a precious flower.In fairness maybe? I do not like lavender in general but I have disliked certain elements in many perfumes and end up loving the combination...when it is right, but this is just so wrong. I have never said this in a review before but a dab, a bit more or a lot; this IS a very offensive scent, I actually would not be able to stay near someone wearing it. I love the smell of fresh sheets and clothes imbued with the scent of the sun and the wind they've dried in. This fragrance captures that perfectly. It's an instant clean, fresh water feeling. Just lovely. Pure Grace is a clean, fluffy, laundry-type scent. It’s a little screechy-synthetic but not as aggressive as others in this vein, like the CLEAN Cotton fragrance which I remember being extremely astringent.
