About this deal

I love & adore Olympea! She's one of my favorite designer fragrances. I know she can be somewhat controversial, so I would advise against blind buying if you aren't too familiar with salty vanillas. I can also see her not working with certain chemistries. If YSL Libre Le Parfum is winter, this is the summer counterpart. That vanilla ginger white floral combo is quite warming and sensual. The added saltiness makes this more “summer nights” appropriate. |Salty and Vanilla are the two words which immediately spring to mind when I think about Paco Rabanne Olympéa Eau de Parfum. The first in the fragrance range proved to be quite a hit because of its sweet yet clean longevity. SWEET, CREAMY & SOLAR Tiare Flower with Powdery Orange-Blossom. Perhaps Paco Rabanne's answer to the Alien Goddess craze, this beauty doesn't bear much in common with the original Olympea. Opens with a burst of citrus & orange-blossom with sweet, powdery & tropical facets, that deepens into a floral heart of tiare supported by solar notes & oakmoss, with buttery, beachy & sweet nuances, all resting on a ylang-benzoin base. Aldehydes & oakmoss here are less prominent than the notes would suggest, and overall I get a sweet, beachy tiare-flower & powdery orange-blossom scent over a sweet balsamic benzoin base. Reminders for me of Alien Goddess Mugler, Dolce Garden Dolce&Gabbana and Hypnotic Poison Dior. Surprisingly very ambery on my skin. Not strong at all, but maybe it’s me being partly noseblind. It’s my boyfriend’s favorite perfume on me ( he loves amber fragrances the most ) Users and reviewers note that this perfume is best suited to evening and night wear. It is best described as a floral scent and its main accords are amber and vanilla with a hint of salt. The top notes consist of tangerine, vanilla and salt. These rest on middle notes of jasmine and sandalwood, offset by amber and lily base notes. The fragrance is also available as part of an Olympea gift set, along with a body lotion. More from Paco Rabanne Paco Rabanne Olympéa Intense is a deeper, warmer, Amber version of the original perfume. The Amber combines well with the Vanilla and Salt notes to create what is indeed a more intense version of Olympéa. I don't like the OG, but this flanker is like to be on Santorini. The scent of Greeks sunshine, flowers and the perfect holiday heat. I am so happy I found it, the only bad thing that it is not in production anymore as I read it somewhere.

|Paco Rabanne launches a new feminine fragrance in August 2015 under the mythical name of Olympéa. Olympéa represents the equivalent of the masculine edition Invictus from 2013, inspired by the athletic spirit, competition and victory. It’s essentially a slightly warmer, slightly fruiter version of the original scent. The top notes are Plum and Apricot which work well with the Salty Vanilla to create a sweet warmth. As others have mentioned, this is quite different from the original Olympea. And I love it! It's one of my favorites from this line, along with the Intense version. This is not salty and doesn't have the intense clean florals of the EDP.

Maybe people are too young nowadays to remember but this is actually a very retro smell and it is very similar to YSL Baby Doll at first (a discountinued, iconic "fruitchuli") Eu estou apaixonada por este perfume! Ele tem um cheiro alegre, moderno, diferente, realmente lembra sol, clube. praia, dia lindo!. I’m not sure yet.. reminds me of a mix between dolce garden and PDM Oriana with citrus. Definitely solar and summery. Hello baby from Dolce Garden and Alien Godess! Yes, it's like a mixture of those with orange. It turn into orange creamseacle vanilla scent. The vanilla / benzoin smells almost like coconut. Now, that being said, I think this would layer beautifully with a coconut body lotion. I'd try to go for a subtle, natural-smelling coconut (and not the super gourmand, desserty type) so it only complements the creamy accord without over-powering the rest of the fragrance. These are different, but there are some similarities, especially in the drydowns. OS has a more forward tiare and beachy quality not found in HP. While HP has a more forward almond. As it dries down, OS becomes more similar to HP although it retains the beachy quality throughout. Both have well above average performance. Definitely more gourmand than the original, but less than the intense. Not sunscreen category at all!

As with my perfumes named ‘Solar’ an Orange note is prominent. Once the initial citrus burst has settled a slightly herbal Ylang-ylang perfume note comes through. The orange peel, blossom and mandarin combo in the opening is bomb. It's a very fresh, juicy mix of orange & mandarin. You can really feel the peel notes coming through. Very summery. As with other people here I was trapped into the hype and marketing and blind-bought hoping for something amazing. At first spray I loved it. Though it reminded me of my local mall it also brought warm fuzzy memories. Possibly the salt and warm vanilla reminds me of the pretzel stand right next to the chocolate/ice cream shop? And jasmine is usually such a comforting scent to me. The perfume opens with a mix of watery citrus notes alongside a hint of ginger. The Jasmine note from the original perfume is replaced with Orange Blossom which makes the scent a bit fresher and more summery.
