Artists are often asking why our product is called “Molding Paste” while everyone else’s is called “Modeling Paste”, and is there any difference? First, I have no idea why the product was called Molding Paste. It can be placed in a mold, but it wasn’t particularly developed for that purpose. Molding Paste is what Sam Golden called a similar product at Bocour and he simply carried the name forward to his new company. GOLDEN Molding Paste is made similarly to other brands of acrylic modeling pastes. Basically, they are all a medium of acrylic polymer that is filled with hard solids.

Make high quality mouldings with this Gedeo Siligum Silicone Moulding Paste. This moulding paste is flexible and resistant, perfect for accurate moulding of ornaments and models. ReplyLightweight, pliable and commonly water-based, it’s ideal for those looking for a semi-matte finish with a low-to-medium hold. Easy to wash out — with hydrating qualities — it can be easily reworked and makes an excellent choice for a loose, care-free look. Absolutely the product I’m searching for. It offers great hold, texture and pliability. And it feels like there is almost nothing in my hair, which is a hard quality to find in most products.” Homemade texture paste doesn't last as long as the store bought kind so don't make big batches.
