I wasn't expecting to learn much new information about the crimes themselves and I was left speechless after reading some of Mae's recollections, not only of the murders but also of the abuse and torment that came before and after. A moving insight in to one of Britain's most horrific crimes in our history. We see what life was like for the children of Fred and Rose west, growing up within a house that, despite not standing anymore, everyone knows about and knows of the location. IT doesn't matter how old you are, you know about the crimes that the West's committed together, whether or not there was hardly any evidence towards Rose, she was still a big part of the abuse and horrors which occurred in their home. I can understand that not wanting to believe your family is capable of that, it's totally understandable. But to go on believing she is innocent, even after she is convicted, to the point where you lose relationships with your siblings the only people who can truly understand everything you've been through. Yet you still took her side? Gross.
