LEGO® components comply with rigorous industry standards, meaning they are compatible and connect strongly for robust builds. I imagine there will be another set coming later this year or next year with Omega and one of two possible bounty hunters. I look forward to this. This set was revealed the day after the series premiered to avoid spoiling the fact that Crosshair betrays the group and joins the Empire.

Obviously, the stars of this LEGO Star Wars set are the minifigures. Nevertheless, it’s fair to expect the main vehicle to reflect key exterior and interior details of the “real” vehicle, which this scaled-down version does not. Fortunately, another method is available. The boarding ramp and entrance are not functional, inevitably, but they are represented by one dark bluish grey 2x2 tile which seems appropriately distinctive among the surrounding components. Tech and team leader Hunter are no less distinctive. Hunter has the most standard of armor, with just a knife as his accessory. Meanwhile, Tech’s armor and helmet are the most distinctive in light gray rather than gun-metal.

While it’s not reasonable to expect a UCS-style vehicle that’s “properly” minifig-scale (as variable as the definition for that may also be), the minifigs that accompany this set dwarf the shuttle itself. The LEGO Group has been recreating iconic starships, vehicles, locations and characters from the Star Wars™ universe since 1999. LEGO Star Wars is now its most successful theme, with fun gift ideas for creative kids and fans of all ages. The other speeder bike is a civilian design, named the Rawlings TK5. Hunter commandeered one such vehicle on Pantora. I love the lime green livery, accented with white stripes adorning the bodywork and adjustable thrust pods. These correspond precisely with the source material and the length of 14cm seems reasonably authentic too. Moreover, the outriggers look suitably slender but feel rigid. My thoughts exactly. Do we really need the speeders? Certainly their inclusion says to me that they wanted to charge more for what they intend to be the only Bad Batch set. Although missing Omega is very problematic, but maybe she could appear in a Microfighter set if they really don’t intend to produce more Bad Batch sets. How many SW sets that are not UCS get display stands? I honestly don't know but I haven't seen a lot. So most likely, this set is consistent and accurate with TLG's own previous sets for ships designed like this.
This is one of many SW sets that make me think: why does Lego even bother? I might be being a little hard on them, but when an Omega minifig gets made, it cant even fit in the ship. Also, if you had custom BB minifigs from TCW, you couldnt even put the whole crew in! It looks alright on display, but IMO, only from one side because of the ugly half completed top wing. I honestly dont know if thats good enough for me. Ill buy it for sure because I love TCW and TBB, but this set really could have been better especially in size. The additional seat is not displayed in any official images but was presumably intended, otherwise this container would be integrated more closely. This option is definitely appreciated, despite the tight squeeze! Also included are two speeder bikes that appear in two separate episodes of the first season of The Bad Batch. They almost act as additional sets within the wider 75314, both positively and negatively. It adds an extra level of play and value to the set as a whole, but would any of us have complained if we had lost one of the two speeders in exchange for an Omega minifigure, or perhaps also a Clone Trooper in metallic dark grey? — Characters — I like it but I can't help but feel like they could've done the speeders as a separate smaller set, with Omega, Civvies Hunter and Imperial crosshair and then included republic crosshair in this set instead (and made this set cheaper too)."

Five minifigs make sense for the price point, and of course, we would want all members of the original Clone Force 99, but the set feels incomplete without this new character. Following his extensive injuries on Lola Sayu and Skako Minor, Echo joins the Bad Batch and wears armour which complements his squadmates. Unfortunately, the kama that distinguishes Echo from other Bad Batch members is printed rather than employing a fabric element and the helmet seems imperfect as well, despite featuring excellent detail. Echo's decorated arm looks splendid though, portraying his cybernetic implants.
The ingenious Bad Batch was introduced during Star Wars: The Clone Wars and possesses varied abilities, surpassing normal Clone Troopers. This impressive squad now appears during their own animated series, following the foundation of the burgeoning Galactic Empire. The folding wings are composed mostly of wedge plates and attach to the Technic joint disks on the main fuselage. 1×2 plates with Technic pin holes create hinges to attach angled areas between the crew compartment and wings. A large gap remains between the wings and the nacelles to allow the wings to fold up. Each of the Bad Batch members’ history in combat and individual personality as we get to know them in the Disney+ show is mirrored in key design traits to their respective appearances, and importantly, those same key design traits are pretty much all wonderfully captured in LEGO minifigure form here.
