Kensington claims up to 15 months of battery life with two AAA batteries. As we’ve only had the keyboard for a couple of months, we’ll have to take their word for it on this one. Price/Value I’ve reviewed a lot of keyboards over the years here at Techaeris. Most of them tend to be of the mechanical variety, but that’s not to say there aren’t plenty of other keyboard options out there. Kensington is a company that focuses on the office and has several keyboards for office use. The keyboard itself feels fairly decent when it comes to build quality, but it is fully plastic. I noticed that some of the keys, namely the a/s/d/w/e keys, have started to rotate slightly, but typing and performance aren’t affected. The keyboard looks pretty typical for something you’d see in most offices. Given the price point, that’s not to be unexpected. Set up/Ease of Use The Kensington Slim Type Wireless Keyboard performs decently enough. Sure, it’s no mechanical keyboard, but I found it satisfactory for day-to-day office work. Personally, it reminds me a lot of typing on a laptop keyboard. I did let a couple of co-workers who aren’t into gaming use it for a few days and liked the slimness of the keyboard. Customize the pointer with up to 20 different styles to best fit your different presentation scenarios. Select the laser like pointer for formal presentations and other unique pointer styles to encourage more discussions/conversations for interactive informal presentations.
