In this monumental collaboration, Hot Toys has invited Mr. Khoo Fuk-Lung, a popular and iconic Hong Kong comic artist to create his own distinctive style of Venomized Iron Man. His design offered an extensive insight into the re-imagined character through unique and incredible visual elements, greatly emphasizing the fine details on the Iron Man armor with powerful drawing attention to the parasitic Venom symbiote; while Hong Kong sculptor Mr. Joseph Tsang has carefully translated the conceptualized design into a realistic collectible with exceptionally fine details. Despite seamless joints, this figure has a pretty good articulation range. And they even included extended leg articulation like on diecast figures! You can definitely get him in some awesome poses! Obviously, since it’s Venom it’s a massive figure. He is literally a beast. Hot Toys has done a great job bringing him in figure format. THE HEAD SCULPTS Moreover, a Special Edition available in selected markets will include a symbiote sword that’s interchangeable onto the incredible figure, recreating the times when Venom turns his symbiote into a weapon.

This means the arms and the legs have seamless articulation. So, I wouldn’t recommend leaving the figure in the same action pose for a long period of time. I know this can be a problem for some. Though, I think seamless was the way to go for Venom. These are collectible figures so you expect the best from them. And apparent joints don’t look great. For figures like Venom, you have to make compromises. Plus the use of rubbery material gives the figure a better texture recreating the Symbiote aspect. Long-awaited by fans, today Hot Toys is excited to officially present the dark, villainous Venom as a 1/6th scale collectible figure inspired by movie that shares the same title. Mr. James Khoo Fuk-lung, Hong Kong comic artist and illustrator, has joined the comic profession in 1978. Khoo’s drawing style was heavily influenced and inspired by American comics and Japanese manga artists. His work was representational in style and color, also meticulously detailed, and thus could more easily be seen as artistic production.

The Venom figure includes all the accessories you'd expect, including symbiote tendrils, interchangeable hands and no fewer than three types of tongues.
