About this deal

The sun, pollution, technical treatments and styling tools can compromise the shine of blonde hair and its tones, that, with time, can turn yellowish. pandemic.

Fanola No Yellow

This blonde shampoo definitely reduces brassy tones in hair. It has a bit of a chemically smell and can stain any patches of dry skin I have on my hands. I am ruined for all other purple shampoos after using this, as none of them do as well! Can be pretty drying but using a leave in conditioner sorts it out.Best toner shampoo for keeping your blonde tones looking there best. I had ran out and my hair was super yellow. First use toned it down a lot and I use this to maintain my colour. Highly recommend It is recommended to wear gloves when applying this shampoo to prevent staining of the hands and nails. Use once a week for very yellow undesired tones, and then fortnightly to maintain your blonde. I find this does help with yellow tones in a way that doesn't leave purple patches through my hair, but as with most shampoos of this type - my fine hair struggles. I end up fairly tangled and have to use a hydrating mask afterward otherwise I'd never get a comb through it. You can use this shampoo to tone hair after bleaching but if your hair is very damaged or sensitive you may be better off with a nourishing toning mask instead. It won’t dry your hair further, but it will not hydrate it either. If your hair is very porous, leave it for less than 5 minutes, wash it off and if needed apply it again. It’s easier to just apply it again and trying to remove visible violet tones from your freshly bleached hair. On purple shampoo I will ever use. Tried many others and this is the only one that doesn’t turn my blonde hair purple (I have basically bleach blonde hair)

This stuff is magic, it’s a sophisticated toner and it’s impossible to overtone with. I have level 10 blonde hair and it doesn’t dry my hair out, I do use good quality conditioners and leave in oils though. Some people also dislike the smell. It is a bit strange, like a sweet liquorice with a chemical base, but most purple shampoos don’t really smell great. It does wash off and doesn’t linger so if your concern is the smell just use a nicer smelling hair mask afterwards.

If you have natural or lightened light blonde hair, and it keeps getting brassy, this purple shampoo is perfect for you. Provided you don’t mind being careful on how to apply it (use gloves), it is highly effective for removing brassiness. Easier to use and less likely to dye your hands purple, but it may dry your hair a bit too much. The matching conditioner can be left in the hair for upwards of 10 minutes for removing stubborn yellow tones. It’s also a bit cheaper. Picture It gets rid of unwanted brassy tones, be careful though as it can leave your hair dry and I would recommend using a hair mask after to give your hair a nice moisturised hug.Recommended by my hairdresser to use in between sessions. Really love it, does dry out hair a bit so you need a good moisturing conditioner. I use it twice a week for best results.
