About this deal

Mediatonic confirmed towards the end of 2021 that the Xbox and Nintendo Switch versions of the game would not release as part of the Season 6 launch, writing, “speculation on social media connecting these new console releases to the Season 6 launch and we want to clarify that that's not the case so no one’s left confused looking for the game on these platforms.” The studio did, however, add that the releases were still "top priorities in active development." The rules of the game are simple. Each round consists of several different mini-games, with the number of players whittling down until only one player remains. The mini-games are different in each round and can range from races to obstacle courses to team-based challenges. The winner of each round is the player who makes it to the finish line first or is the last one standing. The game is divided into several different seasons, with each season introducing new mini-games, skins, and other fun features. Monopoly's four normal corner squares are there, with location squares in-between. But the images show you'll also collect currency and Crowns as you travel the board.

Kan:I had forgotten about this company and funny enough the only times I hear from these guys is when they do something anti consumer Eurogamer.net is owned by Gamer Network Limited, a ReedPop company and subsidiary of Reed Exhibitions Limited. If you’d asked us which video game (after Fortnite and Five Nights at Freddy’s) would end up becoming a Monopoly set, we wouldn’t have said Fall Guys. Dicebreaker is owned by Gamer Network Limited, a ReedPop company and subsidiary of Reed Exhibitions Limited.

Anyone familiar with board games know about Monopoly. The competitive board game about buying up property and slowly gaining the ire of your fellow former friends has had many different versions over the years. In addition to different themes like Millennial Monopoly, there have been versions based on official licenses from other properties like Super Mario, Animal Crossing, and Roblox. There was even an interactive game show event, Monopoly Live, hosted in the UK. Now, we will be getting Fall Guys Monopoly, an officially licensed game featuring the game show antics of Devolver Digital's battle royale.

How has Fall Guys hit this milestone? It’s because, a week ago today, the game went free to play and made the jump to the PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. Previously it was just available on PC and PlayStation 4, priced as a regular title. Monopoly's Fall Guys Edition is available now in the US, and will come to the rest of the world "soon". Now that crossplay has actually arrived and development on these versions is being “finalized” it really only feels like a matter of time. Fall Guys has officially gone free-to-play, providing a new Season 1 with its release on Xbox, Switch, and the Epic Games Store.

So, while we know that the Nintendo Switch and Xbox versions of Fall Guys are definitely still in the works, Mediatonic didn’t actually give any kind of release date in its latest post. Fall Guys is divided into several different seasons, with each season introducing new mini-games, skins, and other fun features. The first season introduced the game's basic mechanics and features, while subsequent seasons have introduced new levels, obstacles, and skins. The latest season, for example, has introduced new levels set in a futuristic space station, complete with low gravity zones and moving platforms. With each new season, there's always something new and exciting to discover.
