A blend of 5, 8 and 12 year finely aged 100% column still rums from Barbados. Rich, indulgent flavour notes are balanced out with lighter, more chocolatey-sour ones as the younger and older rums react to each other. The Duppy Share inspires friends to unite to escape the ordinary by embracing the Spirit of the Caribbean Duppy Share produces a range of Caribbean rums from distilleries in Jamaica and Barbados. The name, Duppy Share , comes from the evaporated spirits lost from the barrels during the ageing process — the Caribbean version of the Angel’s Share. A blend of 2-year Aged rums from Jamaica and Barbados spiced with vibrant Pineapple, Kola nut and Island spices.

It’s National Rum Day on 16 August, so with that in mind, we thought it was only fitting to share some of our favourite rums with you. All of the rum that we tried were blends, most hailing from the Caribbean, with a few from Australia and South and Central America, but all are bottled in the UK. The Duppy Share Aged is an award-winning blend of aged Caribbean rums from Jamaica and Barbados with no added sugar or spice. While it isn’t particularly impactful on the nose, the quality of the rum comes through on the palate. There is a woody spice to the flavour, coming from being aged in American oak bourbon barrels, and a hint of cinnamon and nutmeg coming through in the finish. The rum has a buttery smoothness, which makes it a pleasant tipple. Rum is a celebration of the Cameroonian heritage of the five sisters — Laura, Briget, Noella, Caroline, and Kareen — who created the spirit. They combined their love of spiced rum with influences from West Africa, resulting in a golden-coloured rum that is elegantly presented.Duppy Share rums cover all the bases for rum lovers, with the lineup including white rum, spiced rum, aged rum and an XO rum. The Duppy Share Caribbean rum is produced using a combination of 3-year Jamaican and 5-year Barbados rums. Both are aged in bourbon barrels and brought to London for bottling.
