Miniature Pinscher - Spiral Notebook - Ruled Line - Colorful Notebook, Flower Notebook, Diary, School Notebook Paper, Office Notebook, Poems Barry” is the third novel in the “Dog Diaries” series and was released in the year 2013. The most famous Saint Bernard there ever was, named Barry der Menschenretter, finally tells his life’s story. The story starts in the Alps (between Italy and Switzerland at the treacherous pass, eight thousand feet above sea level). The monks of the hospice of St. Bernard have kept dogs so that they can rescue travelers that have gone missing in the snow. This started in the eleventh century. The dogs are named for the hospice, after becoming a breed of their very own. It is their job to help the two thousand travelers that might otherwise freeze to death. Barry is a modest dog and tells, not just of his own exploits, but about his daily life in the hospice. About how he is close with the brothers that train him, the other hounds that he works with. Barry has saved many lives (more than forty), including a twelve year old boy that was freezing in a cave.

How I protect the yard from birds, raccoons, squirrels, raccoons, mail carriers...and did I mention RACCOONS? I've never been to a real live circus before, but I know it will be the best thing EVER! I've heard all about circus things from Mama Mange and, WOW, does she have some stories! I'm a big James Patterson fan. I even like reading his not-so-great books, which there have many of them lately. His co-written children books are written better than most of his adult crime thrillers! Dog Diaries was one of the books that went under my radar when it was released last year, but the good news for me is that I received it as a Christmas present. Actually, it was the only book I'd received for the holidays. I'm not the intended audience for the book, so I won't rate. Personally, it wasn't a book I enjoyed. Maybe because I work at an animal rescue, and the shelter in the book was portrayed as dog jail, and the boy in the story was threatened to have his dog taken away if it didn't behave perfectly. On the surface, these are silly books with a bit much potty humor, but the real genius of Patterson/Butler’s character is that others’ perspective (Georgia and now Junior) make Rafe even more human.

Fans of the novel is an interesting and fun read that will teach whoever reads it. There is excitement to this book, all of these things are important to good children’s historical fiction. Some found that they got emotional by reading parts of the book. Some enjoyed reading about Barry’s story, and these are a great way for kids to get into chapter books. Some like the way that Barry tells his story of heroics, but does not boast or brag. He just tells it like it is.Junior has silly-sounding names for many things in his world -- but they make perfect sense from a dog's point of view. What might a dog call some of the people, things, and places in your life? And, what's even better? All my best mutt-mates are coming with me! But my dreams of being talent-spotted while walking down streets paved with sausage meat don't quite come true...

With some extra time to kill last Saturday afternoon, I read Dog Diaries: A Middle School Story, which is probably the worst entry in the Middle School franchise! There's absolutely no plot! Yes, I know the story is told from a dog's point-of-view and the book is aimed for children, but, "Come on!" At least include a small plot in the story!!! The book is mostly a bunch of unfunny jokes and gags that makes the dog Junior look very unintelligent. The only saving grace is the fun illustrations!Richard Watson is an illustrator based in North Lincolnshire and has been working on children's books since graduating from the University of Lincoln in 2003 with a degree in illustration. I followed its sniff-a-licious scent to the BIGGEST building I've ever seen, and the smells coming from inside were the most dusty, moldy, oldy, dirt-lectable whiffs I've ever wrapped my snout around. A stray dog’s moving tale about life with Abraham Lincoln—our sixteenth American president and a true animal lover!
