About this deal

For the best reader experience, Colleen Hoover does recommend that you read the standalone novel, All Your Perfects(as book four) before Finding Perfect for the final novella to make sense. But Sky and Dean’s romance takes center stage. Sky initially takes the reins of the story. A girl of seventeen, Sky doesn’t believe in true love or romance, at least not when readers first meet her. Lowen Ashleigh is a struggling writer on the brink of financial ruin when she accepts the job offer of a lifetime. Jeremy Crawford, husband of bestselling author Verity Crawford, has hired Lowen to complete the remaining books in a successful series his injured wife is unable to finish. Sky is seventeen-years-old and she doesn’t believe in happy endings. She thinks that they can only exist in fairy tales. Her beliefs are challenged when she meets Dean Holder, the first boy to ever make her feel. This novella follows Maybe Someday and focuses specifically on the first novel’s fan favorite side character, Warren. In Maybe Not, Warren finds himself living with a cold and calculating female roommate, Bridgette. This enemies-to-lovers fable forces readers to ask, will Warren and Bridgette fall in love or tear each other apart?

Sky and Holder are initially drawn together by lust and a mutual fascination with one another, but Holder’s mood swings and mixed signals soon begin to confuse Sky. As the skeletons begin to come out of each of their closets, both the past and present become much clearer for this young couple. Colleen Hoover predominantly writes contemporary romance aimed at both adults and young adults. However, Verity is a much darker read and would be classified as a thriller. A chance encounter in the dark leads eighteen-year-old Daniel and the girl who stumbles across him to profess their love for each other. But this love has conditions: they agree it will last only one hour, and it will be only make-believe. Haunted by the little girl he couldn’t save from imminent danger, Holder’s life has been overshadowed by feelings of guilt and remorse.Especially when that roommate is the cold and seemingly calculating Bridgette. Tensions run high and tempers flare as the two can hardly stand to be in the same room together. But Warren has a theory about Bridgette: anyone who can hate with that much passion should also have the capability to lovewith that much passion. And he wants to be the one to test this theory. Dean made her feel things, actual emotions. He had the power to bring Sky to her knees and the troubled teenager wanted more.

Layken and Will’s love has managed to withstand the toughest of circumstances, and the young lovers, now married, are beginning to feel safe and secure in their union. As much as Layken relishes their new life together, she finds herself wanting to know everything there is to know about her husband, even though Will makes it clear he prefers to keep the painful memories of the past where they belong. That night, Holder comes to see Sky, but he’s a little drunk on lemonades, so he’s not really making much sense. Just as he’s about to drift off to sleep, he tells Sky he loves her. Except, he calls her Hope. Sky has a dream in which her room’s door is closed and she’s scared of the the door knob opening. She wakes up sobbing, and Holder tells her it’s only a nightmare, and she’s safe. With warring personalities and conflicting goals, Morgan and Clara find it increasingly difficult to coexist. The only person who can bring peace to the household is Chris—Morgan’s husband, Clara’s father, and the family anchor. But that peace is shattered when Chris is involved in a tragic and questionable accident. The heartbreaking and long-lasting consequences will reach far beyond just Morgan and Clara. Sky, a senior in high school, meets Dean Holder, a guy with a promiscuous reputation that rivals her own. From their very first encounter, he terrifies and captivates her. Something about him sparks memories of her deeply troubled past, a time she’s tried so hard to bury. Though Sky is determined to stay far away from him, his unwavering pursuit and enigmatic smile break down her defenses and the intensity of the bond between them grows. But the mysterious Holder has been keeping secrets of his own, and once they are revealed, Sky is changed forever and her ability to trust may be a casualty of the truth. Fallon meets Ben, an aspiring novelist, the day before her scheduled cross-country move. Their untimely attraction leads them to spend Fallon’s last day in Los Angeles together, and her eventful life becomes the creative inspiration Ben has always sought for his novel. Over time and amidst the various relationships and tribulations of their own separate lives, they continue to meet on the same date every year. Until one day Fallon becomes unsure if Ben has been telling her the truth or fabricating a perfect reality for the sake of the ultimate plot twist. Although it isn't marketed to teens, there's plenty of teen appeal, which romance fans will enjoy, in this sexy romance between two 18-year-old high schoolers. Hopeless also has its share of cliches, stereotypes, and some problematic behavior like stalking and a violent temper that could be a good starting point for talking about these issues.

When the secrets he’s been keeping are finally revealed, every single facet of Sky’s life will change forever. This mystery romance follows a lifelong couple, Charlie and Silas, who have been in love basically since birth but wake up one day with absolutely no memory of each other. Together, they must work to unravel the truth of what happened to them and why they fell in love in the first place.Daniel, a high school student like his friend Holder, has a steamy encounter with a fellow classmate in a maintenance closet at school. The two barely speak, never learn one another’s names, don’t even turn on the light in the closet, and agree that what they shared would be a one-time thing. If you are reading the entire series, you should read Hopelessfirst then Losing Hope followed by the novella, Finding Cinderella. At age twenty-one, Auburn Reed has already lost everything important to her. In her fight to rebuild her shattered life, she has her goals in sight and there is no room for mistakes. But when she walks into a Dallas art studio in search of a job, she doesn’t expect to find a deep attraction to the enigmatic artist who works there, Owen Gentry.
