Missed opportunity of Co Op limiting to only 2 player couch rather than 4 player online reminiscent to TMNT on the arcades. I have the PS4 version of this game, it had the same bugs as the PC version. The two main bugs that bugged me were. RPG-Like Dojo Progression - Master 40 unique skills and upgrade your characters' stats as you karate your way through enemies. But, the problem here is that Johnny and Daniel have already spent three seasons gradually learning that maybe there are some grey areas in their whole yin and yang relationship. Seeing it remain such a plot point after we’ve spent three years with their “on again off again” frenemyship is a little frustrating.

Typical enemies are usually a pushover, but after brief title card introductions, you’ll encounter larger enemies and have to use the counter (circle button) more often. This works pretty well, and if you time it right, you’ll grab an enemy around the ankles and launch them towards the screen. Daniel and Johnny were both surprised at how Kreese used their history to turn them against each other like that and surprised that Kreese is still as evil as he always was. Daniel and Johnny decide to call a truce and make sure that this doesn't happen again. The principal doesn't believe one word that Hawk and Demetri are saying. They tell him that it's all true, but the principal tells them that everything's a mess and their best explanation being a retired mastermind veteran with a penchant for chaos sounds more like something out of a book. They keep telling him that it really happened, so he decides to give them detention where they can write their tale on paper. He jokingly says that their delusion would make a good TV show or a video game. I'm happy to report the frame rate has been tweaked, not fixed... it still feels a little stuttery but not as bad. They find out that the same martial artist had the All Valley Tournament sponsor her party and only requested for her to appear, prompting them to conclude that Miyagi-do is behind it. The next place they go to is 5th Avenue Bar, where they find Armand and get information on what he's up to with Miyagi-Do, but he tells them that he came to the bar for a business meeting with a buyer to tell him that he wanted to buy the strip mall because he had plans for true karate, but he missed his deal and blames Cobra Kai for it. Cobra Kai heads to the Valley Fest, concluding Daniel was the mastermind and promptly defeat him.

Demetri closes the story by telling the principal that there was an anonymous tip that said that Johnny was behind it all because he couldn't get over losing the tournament to Daniel. With Johnny apparently ousted, Cobra Kai turned into something else with Kreese as president of the All Valley Karate Committee with new rules for the tournament. So far as team-ups go, the most exciting pairing by far comes from a completely unexpected source. Amanda LaRusso is mad as hell that this karate nonsense resulted in a bunch of hooligans breaking into her home and threatening her kids’ lives, but we see a surprising amount of empathy from her once she learns the story of one of the offending Cobra Kai. The growth we see from both her and this character is perhaps what leaves me most excited for Season 5. While moves are easy to perform, I found them a bit counter-intuitive to do as you’ll be using these more often than the basic moves due to crowd control and maximum damage. They have a brief cooldown each time, and the wait isn’t an issue, I personally didn’t like holding the shoulder buttons almost constantly. While they focus on the defensive game, that doesn’t mean that it’s much different to Cobra Kai as there are plenty of moves to perform, albeit, specials are ice-based, Cobra Kai’s are fire. Starting with Miguel, the gameplay was much better, an initial super being a tiger uppercut style punch that was useful, and the flames actually worked well.
