I blind buy everything,for health reasons, and this came 2 weeks ago.. I've tried everything I can but this is a mystery. I go anosmic to this, but it comes and goes. When I can smell it, it's great. Sometimes I get that plastic sense, mmm, latex petals. 🤔 This one is surprisingly grown up, and I really cannot detect any of the original Fantasy DNA. It's summery, but I don't know if "tropical" is the right descriptor. When I see that word describing a fragrance, my mind usually goes to coconut, tropical fruits, sunscreen, marine and/or salt notes, etc. This is 100% a white floral fragrance. I do get lily up top with the melon, but thankfully the lily is subdued because I cannot stand lily. Tiare flower is the star of the show here. The melon stays throughout, but it is not overpowering.

Projection is closer to the skin, but at 20AUD for a 100ml bottle (which is absolutely huge btw) I'm not mad at it Believe is very different from the ultra-gourmand Fantasy line as well. The "sweetness" of this fragrance is subtle, like a half-ripe papaya. Nothing like the vanilla frosting topped dessert you might expect after experiencing Britney's other fragrances. I was watching Sarah Mayes talking about her longest lasting celeb fragrances and that’s when I decided that I needed Believe in my life again. This really does last! It’s actually becoming harder to find and harder yet for a good quality pre-reformulated, metal plated bottle. The fragrance is light and close-to-the-skin, so it's hard to say exactly how long it wears, but I'd give a rough estimate of 4/5 hours. Not the most awful longevity for a edt, but not particually good when compared against the las Britney's Believe has nothing to do with Mugler's Angel at all. I am so surprised that this was even mentioned in the description of Believe.

I don’t like this perfume though, on my skin it becomes too mascoline to my liking, but I recognize its originality, especially for being a celebrity fragrance! I have a decent collection ranging from niche to designer to budget friendly perfumes. I have always stayed away from celebrity perfumes with exception to Britney Spears fantasy range (and later ariana grande- cloud) because they actually manufactured decent products for the price. If fantasy, Circus fantasy, Hidden fantasy and midnight fantasy was anything to go by then I was sure I'd be on to a winner with this. Sadly not. Couldn't smell it right off the bat. I over sprayed (I usually do to be fair) and still Couldn't smell it. I'm glad I got it on sale in UK superdrug rather than full price. The gourmand that Brit is known for is replaced with a sour and zesty scent, drying down to be rather spicy, it’s these spices that I think make it more of a unisex scent than one only aimed at women. The sour note is strong through the middle, at first it’s sweet and the dry down is spicy but through the middle it’s very sour, not a bad sour though, it’s pleasant. Smelled this today. Never fails, her fragrances always outshine the best niche fragrances. I try not to wear them. I'm not in to labeling fragrances but her line is clearly meant for women, but anytime I give compliments on women it's almost always a BSpears fragrance. There is a reason for 2 billions in sales. I'll occasionally wear curious around the house and find myself naked on a bear skin rug... alone

Notes sound nice tho, typical Fantasy with some caramel thrown in. Bottle def looks stunning, better than the barbie pink.You can find em as bargains, this however has no staying power on me.. Unfortunately it smells like a body mist that consist of guava & patchouli, it lingers for about 20 minutes. Then poof all gone.
