About this deal

Finn’s girlfriend, Layla, disappeared in France 12 years ago and was never heard from again. He never knew whether she was dead or alive. He tried to move on with his life, but then he met Layla’s sister and they tried to make a life together. Except the past would not stay hidden and past secrets begin to unfold. Secrets that Finn has too, so can we believe him? What a great read. I loved the characters of the two sisters Layla and Ellen, one good and one not so good. The ending was unexpected and was exactly in line with the good. Another good book by this author. Can highly recommend. Ellen is horrified when she finds something that would have no meaning to anyone but her, Layla and Finn. Then she thinks she spots Layla in a nearby town and Finn must question everything he knows about the past ten years. Kristen Granata is a bestselling romance author known for writing inspirational, emotional stories with realistic characters who struggle through the darkest parts of life and come out stronger on the other side. Sparks fly as they grow close and share their tragic pasts. But when danger unexpectedly strikes, James is helpless to stop it as Phoenix gets caught in the crossfire.

Bring Me Back by B.A. Paris | Goodreads

Forget about solving all these crimes; the signal triumph here is (spoiler) the heroine’s survival. Now, I get it, okay? Depression is different for everyone, and I understand that the author had gone through something similar. The beginning of this book was good. Nothing special really. Just one of those romance books that you read really fast, enjoy most of the ride but it's nothing memorable enough to make it to your top list.Well, the rest of the book is really sad and depressing but you feel all the emotions the characters are feeling because it is very well-written. Everything feels real, even the raw pain! So, even though you, for sure, know where the story is going, you go on reading to experience it. I was so close to marking this a dnf but I kept going even though I was struggling to want to read.

Bring Me Back – HarperCollins Publishers UK

I can count on one hand the number of books that made me cry, but this one tops them all. Several times I had to put the book down because I couldn't see through my tears. To tell the truth, the vague blurb of this novel and the origami on the cover attracted me to the book and I started to read it knowing nothing else. A tasty, if not always tasteful, tale of supernatural mayhem that fans of King and Crichton alike will enjoy. All things set aside: this book felt like what I needed to hear at this exact moment in my life. It was a good reminder that I'm not alone in this journey, despite what my inner voice might tell me sometimes.First it was the dialogue. Imagine you take it out all the clichés that you ever read in a book or saw in a romcom and put them in the middle of a book mixed it up with every single predictable thing that came out of self help book at the beginning of the 00's. That's how the two main characters communicated. This psychological thriller will have you on the edge of your seat right up until the end of the book. You are drawn in from the start and completely hooked. I knew as soon as I saw the synopsis for this one, it was going to be my favorite Kristen Granata to date. But what I didn’t know, is how emotional it was going to make me throughout the entire book, with parts completely gutting me.
