There’s work life, boyfriends and just going through life in general. It’s a really easy to watch show, and you’ll find yourself sitting down and binging on several shows all at once, if not entire series. It’s then discovered that the driver of the car is the son of a top judge, and the kid who he killed just happens to be the son of one of the biggest crime bosses in New Orleans. A 3rd series is said to be in the works already, so now is the time to get into this series which isn’t just funny, but you’ll actually see what farm life is all about. I absolutely love watching Brassic! It’s now in it’s 4th series for 2022, and it just seems to get better with age. Channels including Sky Showcase, Sky Max, Sky Atlantic, Sky Comedy and Sky Documentaries are the home to some of the biggest shows from the UK, US and abroad.
The latest episode of The Grand Tour is called Eurocrash, which was released in June 2023 and see’s the boys travel 1400 miles through Poland, Slovakia, Hungry and Slevenia. I have loved watching this show, and it’s one that you can binge watch, with it’s gripping storyline and wanting to know what happens next. I love Euphoria, It has fast become my favourite TV show. Started in 2019, halted because of the pandemic, 2 specials followed in 2021 with season 2 finishing in 2022.Take comedy and humour, add in entertainment and mix it with travel and some interesting facts about cool places, and you get this show. It’s kind of like a modern day Sex in the City mashed up with Friends. One for millennials that love a good coming of age show.
An epic post apocalyptic drama, The Last Of Us is brand new for 2023. Set 20 years after a global pandemic that was caused by a fungal infection. those who are infected turn into zombie like creatures who spread the infection further by biting those who are uninfected. Do you like farming? It doesn’t matter, because this is Clarkson’s Farm. Jeremy Clarkson along with a few of his farming fellows including Kaleb take us on a hilarious journey of what farm life is all about. The good thing is that now all the shows have aired, you can binge watch this one, so it comes down to how much time you want to spend on watching the show in a day.
If you’re into a crime drama, Gangs Of London is definitely the one to watch this year. It premiered on SKY Atlantic in April 2020, with the second season being available in October 2022. I won’t put in any more spoilers, but it’s been a brilliant watch and definitely binge-worthy. The only bad thing is the spelling of “Honour” which is spelled Honor (since it’s an American show). There’s so many great shows on Sky, many of which you can catch up on if you’ve missed them first time round. Series 4 currently has 3 episodes which are specials. The first being “The Grand Tour: Seamen” and the latest being released almost a year later, “A Massive Hunt” which was set in Réunion and Madagascar. The 3rd in the chapter is Carnage A Trois which was released in December 2021. Some of these shows are still on going, some have just finished or started their current seasons, and some are now finished.
It follows the story of Vinny Chase who is the movie star, and is in Hollywood with his friends which include Turtle, Eric and his half brother Johnny “Drama” Chase. One of the best characters in the show is his agent, Ari Gold, who is always funny. The show is a coming of age kind of series, set around high school kids discovering themselves. It’s very hard hitting and edgy, and is all about drugs, sexuality, sex and the other dramas which circulate around old teens in the modern day.The 5th season of Cobra Kai get started in 2022, so it’s a great time to binge watch this series with Daniel LaRusso and Johnny Lawrence. If you’ve seen the previous series this one carries on in very much the same vein. Exploring Italy with a host of Italian co-presenters and guides, not to mention getting into arguments with the crew. Entourage was my favourite TV show years ago, and I think it could be the best tv show to binge watch ever! Each episode is only around 30 minutes long, and it’s got 96 episodes split over 8 seasons. Guilty pleasure or just a great TV show. Girls is of a comedy drama mostly about 4 girls, all friends but all have different personalities. If you like shows which are based around friendships and have a kind of buddy feel to them, this is one of a flurry that I’ve been watching this year. It’s in English/Hindi, and you’ll need subtitles to watch it, but it’s a good watch.
