Her father Ser Otto Hightower was the Hand of the King to Jaehaerys I, Viserys I, and later to his grandson Aegon II. Rhaenyra Targaryen is the daughter of King Viserys I and is seen as the rightful heir to the throne. Rhaenyra is strong and intelligent and has ambition running through her veins. House of the Dragon Day of the Dragon begins streaming on HBO later this year, drawing inspiration from George R.R. Martin’s Fire and Blood novel and delving into the dark history of the infamous House Targaryen.
