The DDJ-SB2 adds a few new features that make it better than its predecessor: Trim pots The DDJ-SB2 comes with trim pots that let you manually adjust the gain levels of both channels.The Filter Fade button instantly adds two high pass filters to the crossfader, so both the volume and bass filter can be manipulated using just one hand - seamless mixing becomes effortless. Features The DDJ-SB2, while indeed made of plastic, hardly feels like a toy – it gives me more of an impression that it’s meant to be a portable controller for the serious DJ, someone who uses a full club CDJ set-up but wants something handy for his or her next bar / pub gig. Serato DJ Intro and Serato DJ have been renamed and are now known as Serato DJ Lite and Serato DJ Pro, respectively.

The Pioneer DDJ-SB2 features four rubber pads that provide you with the ability to trigger Hot Cue, Auto Loop, Manual Loop and Sampler - while a further four give immediate access to Play, Cue, Sync and Shift functions.
