About this deal

DJI has made several changes to the transmission technology of the DJI FPV to make the flight experience as responsive as possible. The switch from analog to digital transmission, combine with OcuSync 3.0, reduces latency without sacrificing transmission range. The drone supports dual-frequency transmission with a maximum 50-Mbps bitrate. The highest video transmission bitrate is 50 Mbps. Measured in an open, outdoor environment with no obstacles or interference.

Connect the battery to the charger, and the Battery Level LEDs in an array blink successively. The charging time for one battery is approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. After fully charged, the four Battery Level LEDs are off. Detach the charger after charging is complete. You can buy replacement batteries from Swellpro or from many retailers that sell electronic devices and accessories. There Could Be Something Wrong With the Charger There are already some pictures and even videos of the inside of the batteries. But I took a few pictures and that shouldn't be wasted. DJI FPV batteries last for around 20 minutes on average. This can vary depending on the conditions and how you are using your drone, but in general, you can expect around 20 minutes of flight time from a DJI FPV battery. If you are looking to get the most out of your battery, it is important to understand how different factors can affect its performance. Note: It has been some time since I started the project and it has become much bigger than I initially thought. Therefore, I will split the project into several sub-projects. Logs that disappeared here reappear there ;)

As a rule, you should also look out for some common issues that can hamper battery health. If any of the following occurs, know that it is time to replace the battery: The Intelligent Flight Battery with the highest power level will be charged first, and then the rest will be charged in sequence according to their power levels. My initial research showed that DJI FPV smart batteriesconsist of an "smart" control board and an ordinary LiPobattery. They communicate with the drone via a three-pin plug and provideinformation about battery voltage, temperature, etc. Without these additionalinformations, the drone refuses to start the motors.

Data is tested under different standards in an outdoor open environment without interference. Only to serve as a reference for the max one-way communication distance without considering RTH. Please pay attention to any RTH prompts during actual flight. Both the DJI FPV and Avata are meant to be piloted with FPV goggles, making flights much more immersive and allowing for very precise control. For this reason, compatibility with FPV goggles and FPV performance are two very important metrics to assess these drones. However I find it hard to use because the receiver module tends to come loose easily. You might have to get a 3D printed housing for this. The goggles provide reliable long-distance, low-latency transmission which never once faltered during our testing. The single screen resolution of 1440x810 provides a beautifully clear image from the camera, too.

Camera quality has always been the strong suit of DJI, and they leveraged it well in both the FPV and Avata drones. The DJI FPV comes with an image sensor that is the same size as that found in the DJI Mini 2. The Avata, being a filmmaking-centric drone, comes with a slightly larger image sensor. It’s interesting to note that it’s possible to buy the Avata drone as a standalone product. This is a practical option for those who already have the DJI FPV Controller and FPV Goggles V2, as even the FPV Controller is rumored to be compatible with the Avata. Of course, you can still get the upgraded DJI Goggles 2 and the V1 Motion Controller, but these two accessories together will cost more than the Avata drone. Which one should you get? The Avata’s filmmaking capabilities and smooth flight may offer more for beginners, but the higher price tag also has to be considered. The FPV is ideal for those who have used drones before and are looking for a new and faster flight experience. This all adds up to quite an investment compared to more affordable models in the existing Mavic series – but as we'll see, the DJI FPV offers a flying experience that's quite unlike any other drone. thank you very much for your excellent overview about the DJI FPV accessories. Because I have to wear glasses I have some experience with prescription lenses for different FPV goggles. For all the people with the same issues it might be helpflul to add a link to the Tador prescription lenses mad by RHO-lens: rho-lens.com/tador/
