Recycled acrylic (R-MMA) looks and performs as well as standard virgin acrylic (PMMA) whilst being completely VOC and HFC free and significantly kinder to the environment. Imagine how many of these you could make in a batch. These acrylic keychains make for great gifts and are also a great item to sell at craft fairs or on an Etsy shop. My Easy Acrylic Keychain Designs are sized for 2" acrylic round keychains. If you are using a different shape or size, you will want to create a template to make sure your designs are sized to fit correctly. I don’t recommend Cricut’s squeegee for this project because the vinyl wasn’t 100% smooth and since you are working with transparent blanks you need perfection. Our acrylic suppliers are auto-sustainable and power their production facility using waste products from their manufacturing processes. In one of the styles, I typed my name and used offset to add an extra pop, and, on the second one, I added a Cricut image (Beach Vibes – #M26A1B980). Also, if you like the tassels, the ones that came in the kit I bought felt relatively cheap, so you may want to search for metal tassels or something that feels extra sturdy.
