About this deal
Over my years of gardening, I’ve used lots of different pest control products. Some, quite frankly, just didn’t work and others had to be treated with huge caution. And some of the newer chemicals may poison bees so there’s no way I’m going to use those. I was delighted to discover this, an organic solution that works, and it works fast.
Treats a wide range of weeds including ground elder, bindweed, dandelions, nettles and couch grass. It’s also very effective on moss, weeds and grass growing in paving. It’s not recommended for control of Ivy and Japanese Knot weed, or for treating weeds in lawns. The granules also contain naturally occurring ‘friendly‘ bacteria that then start to ‘eat’ the dying moss which gradually disappears as your grass grows Extra fast acting. Some weedkillers can take weeks to work. You can see this working in hours! On hot sunny days, results can be seen within 2 hours, on cooler, cloudier days, it still works within 24 hours. The bacteria also need a moist soil and may not be effective during hot weather/heatwaves or prolonged periods of dry weather. In these circumstances, it is important to keep the soil moist. If you allow weeds to set seed, then your soil surface will be a seed bank for those plants for years. If you can control the weeds before they flower then you will reduce your potential weeding needs. Take dandelions for example, the rich yellow flowers are a magnet for pollinators offering a rich resource of pollen and nectar when there isn’t much else out in flower. If you can let them flower, but remove the flowers before they set seed then you can control the spread of these plants but still help the bees. Plants not pests For best results: Spray on a dry day, on dry leaves, and don’t spray if it’s likely to rain within 4 hours otherwise the weedkiller won’t be fully absorbed. And try to spray all of the leaves to make sure as much weedkiller as possible is absorbed.
My new natural Moss Remover is now even better than my previous formula. It now contains more moss beating potash and even more (13 species) of the natural occurring ‘friendly’ bacteria to remove the dying moss. How to Use:Organic gardening approved. The natural active ingredient is based on an extract from chrysanthemums. Easy and speedy – simply sprinkle the granules over your lawn evenly when the soil is moist and the grass is dry, and that’s it! What’s more, you should start to see results within just a few days, both in the quality of your grass and in the reduction of weeds and moss too.
