In “Pups Save Skye”, Everest saved Skye and when Everest arrived, Skye was happy and yelled in joy, “Everest!”.

The bond between Everest & Skye has received a mixed to positive reception from fans. While some have praised them for trying to have a bond with eachother and for not making Skye the only girl in the show and team, there are some who consider Rubble to be Everest's true best friend. As they have been shown to have a few things in common, and hung out with eachother apart from the other pups. Their portrayal as best friends in "Pups Save A Frozen Camp-Out" was described to being forced. Though some fanart and fanfiction exist. England-based Rainbow Productions and USA-based Scollon Mascots and Custom Characters Inc. were hired to create the official mascots. The bodysuits have a foam layer underneath, which keeps the appearance of the suit consistent, no matter who is wearing it. Since the mascots were designed to always be wearing clothes, the torso of the bodysuit for each character is covered in air holes to keep the costume well ventilated. Later in the episode when Skye and Everest saw each other, Skye excitedly said "Everest!" and Everest said, "I see her!" and howls. Next, Everest rescues Skye by sending a sled to her and then drags her up a steep hill and brings her to Jake's lodge.

Everest also loves to eat anything liver flavored, such as liver flavored pup treats, and liver itself. While Sweetie is not a mascot yet, in February 2023 a costume of Sweetie featured in the Heroes Unite stage play. In which she climbs onto Skye's Helicopter ladder and lands behind some bushes before being replaced with her standard live show puppet again. In “Pups Save Skye”, moments after Skye injured herself and broke her wing from crashing into the snow, Everest starts to become worried that Ace came but Skye is no where to be seen. Everest calls Skye but since Skye's pup tag is missing, she didn't answer and that really made Everest worried. In “Pups and the Big Freeze”, they jump in the snow (also including Zuma) with eachother then laughed. Marshall first appeared as a mascot along with Chase at the NY Toy Fair 2015. Since then, he has been one of the regular Mascots at special occasions, next to Chase, including the PAW Patrol tours and mall events. Marshall, like Chase, has a Halloween variant and pajama variant but his Halloween variant has him wearing a pumpkin mask and pumpkin themed clothes.

In "Pups Save the Polar Bears", When Ryder told Everest that Skye found one of the missing cubs, Everest said excitedly "I see her!". Then when Skye was arriving with a fish in her mouth to lure the cub to the boat, Everest excitedly said "Look, here comes Skye, with pup bait!. Skye is not afraid of heights at all. However, she does have a fear of eagles ( Aetophobia), as seen in " Pups Save a Toof", but she overcomes this fear many times to help others. She does not mind harmless baby eagles as seen in " Pups Save an Eagle". At the very end of the episode, when Everest offically becomes a paw patrol member, Skye has the last line and says "yay!" while everyone looked at her.

Everest lived on the South Pole when she saved Jake, who was just about to fall off a snow cliff. Everest was then told about the PAW Patrol, whom she got to meet near the end of "The New Pup." She was made an official member (with her own badge) by Ryder during a camping trip before the episode ended. So far, she is the 7th canine member of the team, and she is the 2nd female member. Everest is a fun-loving Husky pup and the newest member of the PAW Patrol. She lives with Jake on his snowy mountain and loves 'belly-bogganing', sliding down on her belly. Several fans always want PAW Patrol to have Skye and Everest to appear and be in more missions together in more episodes. Also they have critized the writers and creators of Paw Patrol in the past for leaving Skye and Everest out of the majority of missions and Paw Patrol responded in seasons 5 and 6 as Skye was a responder in 90% of the episodes and Everest did appear more often and the big moment was in "Pups Save a Frozen Camp Out" where Skye and Everest were the main focused pups in that episode. Skye is also friendly and playful. She likes to participate with her fellow PAW Patrol friends in fun activities such as Pup Pup Boogie. However, she and Zuma seem to have a rivalry and tend to be competitive with each other. Sometimes, she gently teases the other pups who can't keep up with her in the games they play. Later in the episode when they were both deployed, Everest was new to the flying and felt scared. But Skye promised to be by her side. Everest said, "Fly? Um, I've never done that before." and Skye tells her, "Don't worry, I'll be there to help you.". That gave Everest a lot of confidence to fly when Skye was going to help her.
