story. Easily the most sexually graphic book in the trilogy, Score punctuated the intense connection between these two characters with very raw, unfiltered interactions, both sexual and nonsexual, to help the reader really get a grasp of all they’re going through and have been through. Coffee was this girl's ENTIRE personality for most of the book. I don't mind characters having an obsession with a food or drink, but when it's ALL they talk about, think about, or go get, it's ANNOYING. PDF / EPUB File Name: Things_We_never_got_over_-_lucy_score.pdf, Things_We_never_got_over_-_lucy_score.epub Just like the above sentence from this book, this isn't what readers like me too wanted. This was a strange book where the characters behaved in bizarre ways. The main characters, Naomi and Knox, are both above 35 years. Yet, they are acting like irritating kindergarten kids who are obsessed with actions similar to Disney characters in some parts of the book and like toxic, emotionally manipulating, and stalking characters in the other parts. When Meg Koranda learns that her friend Lucy is having cold feet on her wedding day, Meg talks her into pulling a runaway bride moment, circa Julia Roberts. After all, she knows the town’s golden boy turned mayor Ted Beaudine is not the right person for her best friend. There’s just one problem. The jilted groom is none too happy about being left at the altar, and who better to punish than the instigator of the mess? Act Your Age, Eve Brown by Talia Hibbert

Naomi and Knox have an interesting meet cute. When Naomi rolls into town with daisies in her hair she doesn’t expect the welcome she gets. See, her twin sister who is basically a menace to the town, asks for her help. When Naomi shows, she is, of course, mistaken for the twin. That lasts for a bit but ultimately she carves her own place out in town, along with her niece who she’s taking care of. And the spice, well, if you like it… it’s very much there. This was, at its core, a romance of two unlikely people, and the witty supporting cast that surrounded them was more than entertaining. Enter Lina, his new neighbor in town on assignment. She is a traveling large-claims insurance agent. She is a non-committal type who is a bit of a wild child and has no interest in settling down. Is this about Waylay’s soccer scholarship?” Wraith asked. No matter how long it went on, I still couldn’t get used to the biker dating my grandmother. Even though they seemed to make each other deliriously happy.I’ve read several Lucy Score books but this is by far the best I’ve read yet! I had such a good time reading this story. It was the perfect mix of fun, sweet, emotional, and just a bit suspenseful. Me right after finishing Things We Never Got Over: 🤡 I think I’m going to rate this 3.5 stars and round it up to 4 stars 🤡, cause the book was cute after all and had a tons of tropes done well such as Here we have runaway homeless bride appears in small town and conveniently gets everything handed to her by hero man child Knox & is told she is the best thing that ever happened to him ,even though she constantly gets herself in to trouble and needs things.

Broken men break women. It’s what Lucian believes, what he’s witnessed, and he’s not going to take that chance with Sloane. He’d rather live a life of solitude than put her in danger. But he learns the hard way that leaving her means leaving her unprotected from other threats. She cries to a complete stranger and asks him: please, help me, what should I do? 5 times in the first two chapters. The fact that a 40 year old man finds a broken shell of a woman attractive is a red flag of its own. I almost forgot that one of Knox's main character traits is that he won the lottery. And when it's first mentioned, they talk about how Knox was smart with his money and didn't blow it all on random things, so he's still a millionaire today. But throughout the entire book, Knox is so stupid with money. He quite literally throws his money at people to buy their affection. He likes to use his money to try and control people and resorts to bribery to get his way. And I'm supposed to believe this is a guy who is smart and benevolent with his money? Nope. I couldn't stand the hero or the heroine. Naomi is a perfect goody-two shoes, so beautiful that every single guy has a hard-on for her, so nice that any person who talks to her instantly wants to be her friend. Her fatal flaw is that she cares too much and no one ever cares about her in return. Yawn.

Memphis Ward will do whatever it takes to keep her newborn baby safe. Even if that means moving thousands of miles to a small town in the middle of nowhere Montana and working as a housekeeper at The Eloise Inn, and living in a small apartment above a garage. At least there’s one silver lining: The hot, tattooed landlord and owner of said inn. Sustained by Emma Chase Score does a beautiful job describing the characters, the setting, and the feelings of those involved. I feel that reading her books is a very immersive experience. Knox and Naomi get married, and Tina signs over custody of Waylay to the couple. They live in the main lodge while Liza J lives in the cottage that Naomi used to stay in. Knox and Naomi try to have babies of their own but prove to be infertile. The novel ends with them telling loved ones that they have adopted two little girls. Waylay has become an important part of their family, and most of the previously single characters have found a love interest. Finally, the repetition. Oh my god, the amount of times I read that this girl always took care of others and didn't take the time to see what she wanted or needed, was the most infuriating thing EVER.

Waylay’s boyfriend, Theo, stepped forward and pulled her into his side. I glared at him, but it didn’t have the heat it usually did. “Theo,” I said. I don't even really want to talk about this book a lot, so I'm just going to list what I didn't like:

Multibuys

Hero has great hot friends too and a hot younger brother who is a cop (Lucian-sir spare me a hand in marriage?? Nash-daddy handcuff me to your bed???)
