About this deal

The 12.2-inch touch screen is also a decent fit for the convertible design. Just a little smaller than an 8.5-by-11-inch sheet of paper, it's a fine size when held in the crook of an arm in tablet mode, on a table or desk in laptop mode, or propped up on your knees while reclining on the couch. With 10-point touch and 1,920-by-1,200-pixel resolution, the display looks sufficient and responds to every touch easily. Obviously, it's not as sharp or vibrant as a larger, high-res screen or OLED panel, but it's more attractive than you'd expect at this price. If you crave higher resolution, the processor and full-size HDMI port can drive a 4K external monitor.

For a better analysis of the laptop’s graphics card, I will now present its 3DMark benchmark test result. Briefly, the 3DMark test is used to evaluate the 3D graphics rendering ability of a computer.Lenovo's Flex 3 doesn't deviate from this trend but it does introduce a new Intel CPU, the N100. The first of the silicon giant's N-series processors we've had a chance to test, it differs from Intel's Core series by ditching the multithreaded Performance cores (P-cores) and having only single-thread Efficient cores (E-cores). The N100 has four cores, reducing power draw to squeeze longer battery life out of the lightweight laptops for which it's designed. In other words, it's just about perfect for a Chromebook. Impressively, despite being inexpensive, the Lenovo Chromebook Flex 3 comes with a good-looking design. To give more details, unlike the plastic chassis that dominates the Chromebook market, this laptop features a metal chassis. Thus, this Lenovo Chromebook should have no problem streaming videos, browsing the internet, or working on Microsft Word. As a matter of fact, the laptop should be able to handle light multitasking. If the sheer quality of the Flex 3 is surprising, its core specifications are less so. Processing power comes from an Intel Celeron N4020 CPU. That’s a dual-core chip derived from Intel’s low-power and low-cost Atom line of processors, rather than the premium high performance Core family. The Flex 3's battery life is adequate. It lasted for a bit more than 10 hours in our video rundown test, which involves playing a locally stored video file with Wi-Fi turned off. That should get you through a day of occasional browsing, but it's on the low end for a modern Chromebook. A Slate of Strengths...and One Key Weakness

By the way, the higher the single-core and multi-core scores, the better the processor’s performance. With that in mind, at the end of the Geekbench 5.3 test, the Lenovo Chromebook Flex 3 delivered a single-core score of 260 points. The Lenovo Chromebook Flex 3 comes with an integrated ARM Mali-G72 MP3 graphics card. This graphics card has a standard frequency of 850 MHz. These modes include laptop mode, tablet mode, tent mode, and stand mode. Thankfully, the laptop’s hinges aren’t too tight; hence transitioning from one mode to another should be seamless. Besides, as a 2-in-1 Chromebook, this laptop’s display is a touchscreen. As a matter of fact, the display supports 10-point touch.
