Switching up to Musical Fidelity’s M2si proved to be the sweet-spot pairing though. A little more body, notes more rounded out than through the Marantz. And a fabulously wide and deep soundstage.

Overall, I think the Klipsch Reference Premiere RP-600M II speakers offer great sound quality. Although there is room for improvement, its quality components, such as the Tractrix horn, LTS Titanium Diaphragm Tweeter, and Cerametallic Woofer, ensures an engaging listening experience. The 600M II made the performance come alive, with nice depth and height, providing a holographic performance I’ve only heard from speakers costing twice as much, like the Polk Legend L200 and the Buchardt S400. The grilles are magnetically attached, so there are no unsightly holes on the front baffles. Basically, they look like the original 600M, so if you liked that design, you should be happy with the sequel’s aesthetic.Horn-loaded speakers usually have high sensitivity, meaning they don’t need powerful amplifiers to drive them.
