About this deal

You also have the option to choose the volume (water, milk, and foam) in cups, as well as the temperature on two levels.

If you are a fan of decaf then the E6 coffee machine is not for you, it does not take pre-ground coffee. Most importantly, the cappuccino taste and texture is excellent. The E6 consistently produces luxurious and lightly frothed milk, so each drink looks fantastic. The way it works is by pumping hot water intermittently and at regular intervals into the ground coffee. When you first turn on the machine, you’ll be greeted by your favorite drinks. You program these yourself by saving your favorite coffee settings to make sure you have exactly what you want when you want it. The P.E.P system isn’t just great for espresso. With it, you can also get great, short coffee specialties such as ristretto or lungo shots. Speaking of the descaling and cleaning process, that’s a basic part of having a coffee maker. You’ll have to regularly run this process to make sure that you don’t damage your espresso machine. In fact, the Aroma G3 grinder allegedly allows for more than 12.2% more aroma than other coffee grinders!

As with all Jura, the E6 coffee machine does automate more of this than most, meaning you get more time to enjoy the coffee and have to spend less time fiddling about. You can enter the parameters of each drink to adjust the intensity of the coffee, in 8 levels, from 5 to 16 grams! The benefit to you? Better ground coffee in half the time, your morning hit just got a whole lot easier. Now, that’s just a taste of what the Jura E6 can really do. Let’s take a look in-depth at the machine’s key features. The Key Features

The design of the coffee machine is fast becoming an important part of my decision process, I am not sure why? I just like nice looking things. It helps pull out the most flavor and aroma from your coffee. When you combine that with the PEP extraction, you’re in for a real treat in each cup of coffee. Both models include the Pulse Extraction Process, CLARIS water filter and TFT display. They also both have an automatic frothing system and the same size water tank. With the Jura E6, the company proves once again that its coffee machines are not only high-functioning, but they’re high-quality as well.Inside you will find the same clever brew unit from the more expensive Jura coffee machines. This includes the intelligent pre-brew Aroma System (I.P.B.A.S.), which like any pre-infusion unit, wets the beans before the pressure builds, guaranteeing consistent and full flavoured coffee. The good news is that the E6 has a few special features that make it more durable and easier to maintain than other machines on the market. The E6 has a limited number of pre-programmed drinks: cappuccino, coffee and espresso. But there’s also the option of dispensing milk alone, so you can use it in a two-step process for lattes and other drinks. You can also use the near-instant hot water for a cup of tea.

An interesting feature of the E6 is that the coffee machine can “talk” to the filter using wireless technology. This means the filter is automatically detected, rather than needing to be manually recognised. To be honest, this isn’t a major advantage over other machines, but shows that Jura has put a lot of thought into the E6. The Jura E6 has something called HP1 professional fine foam technology. This type of technology provides a delicate milk foam with very fine bubbles. It also features Intelligent Water System (I.W.S.) which automatically detects filter presence and automatically warns you if the filter capacity has been exhausted and you need to change it.If you’re looking for a coffee machine that turns fresh beans into a wonderful espresso in a relatively short time, the E6 is a great choice. The Jura E6 features all the best of Jura technology, such as its PEP extraction process (more on that later) and aromatic grinder. A couple of weeks ago I got the Jura E6— a fully automatic espresso machine out of Switzerland — and I haven’t been to a coffee shop since. Strictly speaking no it cannot make a Latte. This is because it does not produce hot milk, it only makes foam. But if it is only occasionally then you can warm milk separately to make a Latte, it would just be a fuss to have to do it daily. Delonghi or Jura?
