These long scent notes accompanied by creamy liquor, toffee and powdered florals - I get a hint of the original Far Away in the powdered florals, but the blend here is softer and less overwhelming on me. It wears much more impressively than most of Avon's other fragrances; it averages at somewhere between 8 to 9 hours on me. Far Away Gold : Ok....take away that interfering note explosion from Far Away....and what's left is...Far Away Gold. The Gold version is smoother....and now the evil notes from Far Away go "underneath a little,but NOT enough to rescue this scent....another...NO !!!

This ia a richer parfum concentration [Beyond is the first one] for a more intense & longer-lasting scent that wears all day, no top ups needed. I wore a sweater a few days after I'd last worn Beyond The Moon and would still get the occasional wafts of cherry and vanilla.When I smell this fragrance I can still detect the original Far Away as a core scent. Yes, it is indeed there. The distinct peachy freesia accord is there. I guess for some people, this may play a big 'love it' or 'hate it' role while trying Rebel. But guys, don't be scared if you don't like the original Far Away. There still are chances that you fall in love with Rebel since I do think it makes honor to its name: it's 'rebelish' compared to its predecessor. If Lancome's La Vie Est Belle and Viktor & Rolf's Bon Bon had a baby, then that bundle of joy would be named This scent is so special to me..so heavenly...its brings me wonderful feelings...its like...sleeping on the clouds....ponnies and rainbows...my prince on a white horse...love and happiness..A spray will wrap you in a cozy blanket of Joy. It'll bring you comfort, push-up your confidence and make you feel pretty and fulfilled through-out the day. I can see why they named it "Rebel" - but for those of you who still perceive yourselves as falling in line, this is not so "out there" that it is too provocative to wear. I'd put it more in the range with Estee Lauder's Sensuous, which has coconut and sandalwood - (I like both, but prefer Avon's Far Away).

This note is the note that I have questioned as being good with my chemistry...although each time I have worn Far Away by Avon, I get a ton of compliments... people comment that it smells like a vanilla flavored exotic incense... and they do so with that whimsical look in their eyes, there is definitely something about that type of vanilla musk fragrance which mezmerizes people. It is a great autumn/fall type fragrance - wears well in the winter too because of its depth and warmth. Recall that scent and make it softer, just keep freesia and peach as your base, keep them friendly, not loud. Then, add crème de cassis, recall its sweetness and sourness with a hint of chocolate (like a sparkle, delicate), and just imagine that you're having a drink of it close to an orange tree with all its flowers in bloom.Fast forward many many years to this summer of 2022. I was visiting my beloved 94 year old grandmother when I spotted a capless bottle of Far Away on her dresser. She always preferred masculine scents, so I was surprised she was now wearing this one. Curiosity got the best of me and I decided to spray some on my arm. I was blown away!! I didn’t remember it smelling this good.
