About this deal

As with the other Arks of Omen books, this is no different, with lore advances along with some new rules for gameplay and factions. Boarding Patrol: T’au Empire: (Savagely Allocated 2 Per Store) It seems bizarre that the Succubus was chosen over the far more recent Lelith Hesperax or Drazhar miniatures for inclusion in this set. Not only would Lelith or Draz have increased the overall value of the box and made the whole thing far more appealing, but they are the two most recent releases for a range that is otherwise in dire need of a facelift. Boarding Patrol: Drukhari – Value

Rules for playing Dark Depths games set in the unmapped underbelly of a space hulk, allowing you to mix-and-match eight board layouts This box can be used to assemble a variety of units – the recommended build for Boarding Action games is Commander Farsight, three Crisis Battlesuits, and 10 Breachers split into five-model squads. You can optionally also add one unit of four Tactical Drones. Every Ork player always needs more boyz, and this gives you just that, plus the new Snikrot model too. This is also delayed in Japan. It’s time to see what the Aeldari bring to the tabletop. Below, we have their points and optional upgrades calculated. Can’t say I’m an expert on how Drukhari play – I still call them Dark Eldar to this day – but I will give as good an analysis that I can. This box does fall under the 500 point Boarding Actions list threshold by 130 points – and though the Wyches provide a lot of weapon options, you’ll never have enough to get there. I’d recommend another unit of Incubi to bring the pain in close combat, unless you want to overpower your foe with firepower, bring another unit of Wyches or Kabalites. That’s 265 points right there. I’d also want another unit of Legionaries to up the “boots on the ground” count personally. That’s another 180 points, too. We need to leave room for Wargear and with those additions we’re at 1820 points. Maybe another 20 cultists or if you’re feeling extra spicy, drop 10 cultists and add in 5 more Terminators. That will give you a bit of wiggle room for wargear (although not by much — we’re talking 50 points). While a case of the sniffles or festering pustules are not the kind of blessings you’d want to receive from Nurgle, your bank balance will definitely appreciate these savings at almost 50% off the total models if bought individually. The savings are practically on par with Boarding Patrol: Chaos Space Marines – and that had Abaddon the Despoiler in it. Though comparatively, Boarding Patrol: Death Guard has less models in it, the infantry and elite units have much higher points value (and general play value) than the 20 cultists in the Chaos box. Global prices have been estimated from similar-priced products. Boarding Patrol: Aeldari – Price Value & Savings Summary The stars are awash with the sounds of violence – with the new additions in Arks of Omen: Angron and White Dwarf 485 , there are now a total of 27 Boarding Action missions to take you into the cold depths of space.* Plenty of Boarding Patrol boxes are coming to join the fun – but the starfaring Aeldari are masters of sailing through the void, and their spiky cousins are no strangers to raiding stranded vessels and even space hulks . Vashtorr the Arkifane’s quest for the Key-fragments is nearing its end, and the action turns to the dead world of Arthas Moloch in the fourth chapter in the epic narrative series, Arks of Omen: Farsight. Commander Farsight is just preparing to wrap up the vicious War of Dakka once and for all, when calamity strikes and his entire operation is jeopardised by the arrival of the Unhallowed space hulk and its Balefleet entourage.

New Boarding Patrol Boxes Announced For Eldar & Drukhari

Currently, while we know the prices for most of the boxes, we’ll also have all of the new boxes listed, value-wise, for you below! One more thing to note, these are all valued with the updated 2023 GW pricing. This box can be used to assemble a variety of units – the recommended build for Boarding Action games is 10 Necron Warriors, 10 Lychguard, three Ophydian Destroyers, and a Canoptek Plasmacyte.

Chaos Space Marines are right at home on the claustrophobic corridors of a space hulk, and we’re not even convinced the Thousand Sons register much of the weirdness going on given the forces they tamper with. This Boarding Patrol pairs two Chaos Spawn with 20 Rubric Marines, bringing an impressive number of bodies and a pair of pskyers onto the board while the Spawn make a right mess of anything they encounter. There’s much profit to be found in the esoteric salvage secreted aboard these rotting void-barges – and you can acquire it for the glory of your own Hold with five cybernetically-enhanced Cthonian Beserks, five diamond-hard Einhyr Hearthguard, and 10 geared-up Hearthkyn Warriors, all led by a proud Einhyr Champion. Personally, if I was starting a new army, I’d get two and stop there. For a Combat Patrol it’s a pretty strong box — it’s got a bunch of more “generic” options that can really fit into any army. Alternatively you can buy a couple and go hard into the Windrider builds. With 26 miniatures – the vast majority of which are recent releases – the Aeldari Boarding Patrol will have caught the eye of many collectors.
