About this deal

The Void RGB Elite Wireless win for connectivity. I never experienced any latency or drop-out issues with them on PC or PS4. I was expecting the same performance from the HS70 Pro Wireless and was surprised that they cut out far more frequently.

This pair of G Pro X are the League of Legends limited edition version and feature a blue and gold color scheme. The headband even has gold stitching. It’s easy to say that this is very appealing and one of the most attractive headset designs I’ve ever seen. Limited edition League of Legends design on the G Pro X that is very sleek with the blue and gold that even goes down to the stitching. For a fairly low price, the HS70 Pro Wireless offer good build quality. Nothing feels cheap about the HS70 Pro Wireless other than the detachable microphone. They really set the standard for high build quality in low-budget headphones, and are durable enough for long term use to support years of gaming. I’ve never awarded two headphones a tie for sound before, but both the G Pro X and the HS70 Pro Wireless provide an equal level of quality. The G Pro X and HS70 are hands down two of the best gaming headphones I have ever tested and compared. Neither headset fails in a section and both offer a great product that’s reflective of their price.

Frequently asked questions about the Corsair HS70 Pro Wireless

This may be partially due to the aluminum band that makes up the headband. It’s so sturdy that it prevents the headband from completely molding over your head, instead only the center point of the headband rests directly on top. In this case, without the 7.1 surround sound, this player got the jump on me in the Gulag. However, a last-second audio cue of his footsteps let me turn around and have a fighting chance. Corsair HS70 Pro Wireless The HS70 Pro Wireless also lose 7.1 surround sound on console, making the sound less immersive, but are superb in every other area. The HS70 still have great audio on PS4, however, it’s more difficult to determine the sound direction without 7.1 surround sound.

The HS70 is a wireless-only headset – there is no wired connection. The 2.4Ghz wireless connection is achieved with a USB dongle that plugs into your computer or PS4. Wireless range is rated at up to 40 feet, which is plenty when gaming at your desk or in a living room. I was able to go into the kitchen (which is next to our living room) and grab a drink without losing the connection. Going to the bedroom down the hall led to audible blips and skips, though. There is no Bluetooth capability, and without a wired connection, these are unusable with other sources like a smart phone. In other words, this is a gaming headset through and through. Corsair HS70 - Software Through its wireless USB Bluetooth connector, the HS70 Pro Wireless is compatible with the PS4, PS5, and PC. It also comes with a micro USB charging cable to support its 16-hour battery life. The USB Bluetooth connecter that makes the HS70 wireless on PC and PlayStation consoles.

How do you control the Corsair HS70 Pro Wireless?

The headphones are supported by a plastic mold with a safety belt that prevents the headphones from shuffling around. The headphones come out of the mold with ease and aren’t squished in. They are also covered with a plastic film to prevent scratching which is a must if plastic is used rather than foam for protection. Because of its 2m PC/console cable and secondary mobile cable, the G Pro X is compatible with all devices. Also included is a Y splitter for separate microphone and audio ports on the PC. Close up look at the cables and USB external sound card that enables the Logitech G Hub. The ear cups are properly cushioned with plush memory foam. They fit the entirety of my ear within the ear cups, and there is even some wiggle room. It would be nice to see the same cushion on the headband, as I feel they were close to nailing comfort. Build Quality The HS70 Pro Wireless have great build quality.

The design for the HS70 Pro Wireless are a clear-cut winner. They come across as more professional and sleek than the Void RGB Elite Wireless, which have a much more exotic design. The HS70 Pro Wireless are the second set of Corsair headphones I have reviewed. Previously, I tested the Corsair Void RGB Elite Wireless and was left unimpressed. Because the headband rests on one central point, it causes an ache in the area that takes all the pressure. Discomfort only occurred after long hours of use and didn’t persist after readjusting the headphones. Despite this, the headphones still don’t feel heavy on my head but they could create a better fit on my head. It’s not often that I come across headphones with comparable – and impressive – build quality. Every G Pro X and HS70 Pro Wireless component is made of high-quality materials. No part feels flimsy or like it will break, and I’m sure you can put both of these headphones through the wringer before they will fail. Mic Quality Logitech G Pro X The HS70 Pro Wireless uses the iCUE software to customize the sound. It has presets and even lets you create your own. It’s not nearly advanced as the Logitech G Hub, but it has a much more friendly interface for new users. Comparing sound quality on Console Logitech G Pro XUsing Bluetooth, I connected the HS70 Bluetooth to my cell phone, and the experience was equally as fantastic in terms of the quality of the sound. If you detached the mic and used these as daily, over-ear headphones, you’d be highly satisfied as it sounds the same wired as it does with a Bluetooth connection. The Logitech G Hub is only compatible with PC, making the mics effectively the same quality on console Connectivity Logitech G Pro X
