Depending on the specific hair colour you choose, you may find that certain features pop more, or less, than with your previous shade, or that your wardrobe pairs differently with your new hue. To find the best hair colour to pair with your favourite colours, it’s important to take colour theory into consideration. Colours that are across from one another on the colour wheel are most complementary to each other. When colour theory comes into hair colour the principles remain the same. If you love to wear blue and have cool tones, a vibrant warm toned blonde will complement your wardrobe and your skin tone. Firstly, it’s important to determine exactly if you have warmer or cooler skin tones. While it’s not a fixed rule, usually if your natural hair is lighter, you’ll probably have cooler undertones, whereas if your hair is naturally darker you’re more likely to have warmer undertones. (F.I.L. C199628/1). I am a woman of 48 years old & I usually use LOreal Casting Creme Gloss twice a year to blend away greys without the harsh effects of ammonia & used it a week ago for my grey hairs & because my naturally light brown hair had gone a bit 'gingery' on the ends over the summer. I've never had my hair dyed before, nor had I ever dyed it myself. But as I discovered more and more grey/white hairs at 25 (thanks mom!), mostly around my temples, I decided to try a DIY kit. I bought the L'oreal Casting Creme Gloss, as I didn't want a permanent hairdye, but with a color that was as close to my natural color as possible.

Pharmacy product

The Loreal Paris Casting Creme Gloss has an ammonia-free formula, enriched with natural ingredients like mica, walnut, and argan oil. Its nourishing formula causes minimal damage during the coloring process. I have used L'Oreal Casting Crème Gloss for about 4 years now and I can honestly say that it is one of the best hair colouring products I have used. Do not use shampoo for the next 72 hours. Mixing the color with the developer was fairly easy, the instructions are clear. The formula was quite runny but I found the application to the hair very doable. Just using a little bit at a time I could easily distribute it all over my hair. I put the whole bottle in, but was worried it would be too much as there was so, so much to apply. description":"See the answers to questions that the public have asked to help alleviate your first time colouring fears."

The conditioner smelled really nice, though a little bit chemical. These hair colors have a rich conditioning creme formula that is gentle and nourishing, therefore suitable for sensitive scalps. I would recommend this product to anyone who wants to have a bit of fun, add some shine and vibrant tones to their hair. I would not recommend it for anyone who has a lot of grey hair as the product will not cover their grey hair. It takes longer for the colour to wash out of blond hair - it seems to be more porous and subtle differences in colour are more noticeable than on dark hair. Because of this, you could be left with a permanently changed colour which you would have to re-dye to a shade as close as possible to your natural one. If you still have this problem and the dye still hasn't come out, I would suggest using a semi-permanent to restore your hair to its natural colour and then seeing what the result is after about 8 washes. I would use a shade slightly darker and warmer than your natural colour and only leave the colour on for about 15 minutes if your hair has been coloured in the previous 3 months. If it has been longer than that since you coloured your hair, leave the new colour on for the usual 20-25minutes.
