Anna and Ariadne were just... there. I really do not have much of an opinion on either of them and truly could care less about their fates had they died. Alastair taking care of little Zachary Arash Carstairs sdkhgks it's adorable, Alastair now always smiling makes my heart melt🫠 Alastair’s character development might have been the best character delevopment. I like how he grew into himself and let go of a lot of things. I liked who he was at the end. It was very lovely to watch. (I was reviewing this and I realised I said watch rather than read. That’s because I see the stories in my head like I’m watching it 🙂 )

James, Cordelia and Matthew love triangle is just terrible. Any other pairing would have been better than theirs. Matthew and Cordelia have no chemistry at all. Like none. Tbf, Cordelia has no chemistry with James either but that's beside the point. James and Matthew have such good chemistry. Matthew could have liked James instead of Cordelia. Cassie originally planned on the first edition's short story being the story of the found family tree, with explanations as to why it is incorrect and what the true family tree is. [8] [9]
